Party Scene: Parties & the club are actually pretty lame to me, I'd much rather stay in and study but when ghoe comes around they're fun.

Campus Food: The best thing about campus food is being able to use flex dollars on the food trucks and restaurants on campus.

Campus Housing: Living on campus isn't too bad. What I like most about it is being around so many other students.

Athletics: Come experience it for yourself, it's all about how you feel

Off-Campus Housing: If you want to move off campus do you, the prices are similar to living on campus. Most places are close to campus.

Off-Campus Dining: It's plenty of fast food restaurants close to campus. It all depends on what you're in the mood for.

Administration: My advice is to just keep whatever you do on the low. Don't make a lot of noise and you'll be fine.

Scholarships: The financial aid process was easy to me. My advice for everyone is to do your FASFA as early as possible. I've never had to go to the financial aid office but I heard if you have a problem that's the best way to get things handled. Don't call them because you will be on hold.

Party Scene: The party scene at A&t is great. If you know the right people it'll be always something to get into. Most parties are fun it'll most likley have lots of people. The best parties take place everywhere in Greensboro. If you're looking for a good time you'll find it. During GHOE every party is extremely packed because of the locals and people from different cities.

Campus Food: Williams Dining Hall offer basically the typical school menu things such as Burgers, Pizza, Deli, Entrees, Vegan, Rotisserie, Salad, Soup, Desserts, and Beverages. If you aren't in the mood for the cafe but don't want to spend flex you can go to a place called Simply To Go, they basically have the same things as the cafe but it's faster and it stays open until 10 pm. Other options that you have in Williams Dining Hall are McAlister's, Starbucks & Azul Burrito. At these places you have to use flex but it's worth it to me. We also have Food Trucks on campus that you can go to and use your flex.

Campus Housing: Living on campus is great. Where I live is very convenient to the cafe and my classes. My room is spacious, I share a bathroom with my roommate but that isn't a problem with me. I think the best place to live at on NCAT campus is the village. The village is in the middle of campus so nothing is too far from where you stay. The social atmosphere is cool. The cost isn't bad for having the amount of space you get.

Health & Safety: Nothing really goes on on campus. Just be careful at house parties and places where the intoxication is high.

Overall Experience: Aggie Pride! I'm going to get involved in more schoola activities. These are the best years of your life. Don't waste it studying all the time. Go out! Have fun!

Overall Experience: I love all my professors. Even if you hate the class, you'll enjoy it because of the atmosphere the professor sets. I purposely enroll in classes with teachers that have American sounding names so I really didn't have any difficulty (yet) with any foreign, strict professor. Classes are fairly easy and tutoring is always available.

Overall Experience: The alumni association is great at this school and networking will get you far. It's not what you know it's who you know!

Greek Life: When the greeks on campus come out, it's a wonder to see. They come out at random times too. Like at talent shows they may do a few steps and at basketball games they may bounce around. During GHOE, the plots are FULL!

Athletics: We're Aggies! Of course we have school spirit. Every game will be hype. The band is always on point and the athletes are always on their Ps and Qs whether we win or lose.

Off-Campus Housing: I don't stay off campus but I have friends who have and will and it's actually the same price, if not cheaper, than staying in the dorms. You can opt for it to be fully furnished or not and shuttles come to pick students up for classes on the 20 and 50 mark of the hour. Washing is free too which is a bonus. Washing at the dorms is $1.50 and so is drying.

Off-Campus Dining: Everyone has ordered something from off campus at least once. Papa John's, Dominos, and any chinese restuarant avaliable will be your best friend when the cafe is closed or school is closed.

Administration: I've only had an encounter with 2 police here at school. One was very kind, understanding, and lenient. He even let us half of us stay and the other cop was pretty strict and didn't really take too much bull.

Scholarships: I'm a 4.0 student and the school only offered me 1 scholarship. I'm not really complaining (but I kinda am) because I still had money left over to pay to the school and additional funding would have really spared me the stress, but since I'm a DC resident, DCTAG, DCCAP, and the Last Dollar Award took care of the majority of my costs. I also had help from my church and family. Still had to come out of pocket, so just apply for as many grants and scholarships. A&T is not that expensive so, there's a possibility that your refund check can/will be juicy.

Party Scene: I'm not really a party girl so, I'm not really fit to answer this question. But, if you like drinking and clubbing, college night is on Thursdays and there's always a house party going on, especially on Friday nights and during GHOE.

3 College Freshman

Campus Food: Nothing extra special about our cafe food. It's the same old thing. The food really doesn't have seasoning on it for obvious reasons so it may taste bland and sometimes we have low variety.

Campus Housing: Haley Hall, Barbee Hall, Morrow, Curtis, Holland, and Cooper are the cheapest dorms on campus. The Village and the Suites are pretty good, but the best housing is Pride Hall. It's also the most expensive since it is off campus and ran by the alumni association. Also, I believe Morrow doesn't have microwaves. The Village and Curtis have kitchens and Barbee's shower water pressure is the best.

North Carolina A&T State University is an amazing institution of higher education. There is no other university with as much school pride. With such an inviting atmosphere, spending a few moments on campus just isn't enough time to see the greatness that is NC A&T. A popular slogan that most Aggies live by is "Work hard, play hard!" Not only do Aggies excel within the social scene, but first and foremost, they excel in and out of the classroom. Aggies have been invited to present research at various prestigious institutions, offered positions within the top corporations of today, and have even gone further to obtain doctorate degrees all over the nation. "AGGIE PRIDE" stands for "Achieving Great Goals In Everything, Producing Renowned Individuals Dedicated to Excellence." Each time an Aggie steps foot in a classroom, they know it's time to excel, go further, and reach new heights! Not only do the students excel, but the professors and faculty members do as well. They are more than willing to mentor, assist, and motivate Aggies on the rise. Student advisers not only help students register for classes, but they also have helped students find the proper outlet for their dreams to soar. One of the greatest benefits of attending North Carolina A&T is the vast amount of extra-curricular activities and campus organizations that add to the social atmosphere. There are organizations that directly correlate with your desired major, hometown clubs that help you connect with those from your hometown, and even groups that help you hone your hobbies. In all, North Carolina A&T State University is one of the most unique institutions in the United States. Aggie pride is worldwide.
