I am a high school graduate and recently enrolled at North Arkansas College. From the time I walked in to the time I left, I felt like I was the only one there. The staff was very helpful and informative. When I sat down with the advisor, she took her time and was constantly asking if I had any questions or if she needed to explain in more detail, trying to make sure that she was explaining every aspect of college. This college feels like a family and I feel very comfortable there and believe this will be a great experience for me and for anyone who decides to enroll at North Arkansas College!

Positives and Negatives – My overall experience with this college has been great! I really enjoyed my courses, students, professors, and administration. I would definitely choose to go back to this school again. The only issues that I encountered when I attended was that they did not have many 4 year university partnerships and the counselors are not knowledgeable regarding transfers.

It is mostly great overall, but there are some serious problems that need to be addressed. The dean is not helpful whenever you have a problem with a professor because she will take the professors side NO matter what, even when she knows the professor was in the wrong. She will return your emails until you provide proof that the teacher was in fact discriminating then she will stop emailing you back. I will be switching schools do to this. If you do not need to take A&P, then you will do great at this school. All of my other teachers have been a joy to learn under. Take English with DeWoody, she is the best English teacher I have had in my entire life. You will learn more in her class in one semester than you will learn in your 4 years of high school.
