Academic Flexibility: My overall experience with this school were incredibly awesome.

Career Services: We've had only one job fait since I joined and I found it extremely useful.

Overall Experience: Each semester you are to take variety of classes which for each one there is a purpose beside to just take classes. A higher reason and purpose which is to educate all the students in the best way. Some classes are lecture oriented and others are workshop. The best and the most productive workshops I could found.

Overall Experience: As I am still student I cannot evaluate the degree evaluation but from what I heard and what I investigated prior to my decision to go to this school I can tell the degree is high evaluable and could excel you in finding your future career.

Academic Experience: You only get to sign up for classes you really need and not just to take classes to have certain amount of credit for your degree. Each class you are told to take has a reason and benefit specifically for your degree.

Overall Experience: This school is not the most affordable but in my opinion it is definitely the most professional in preparing you for the real world out there.

Academic Flexibility: Only with the Editing class, it's hard to keep up with actual time to edit in class, maybe if we start seeing that in the beginning it would be great. Also, the school should have more resources to help students get grants and scholarships externally. For example, I got 30% and I've heard a girl in my program had more and she has less needs than me. Surely she is talented but I am as well. It's not logic to have an expensive career if the artist life starts rough. I understand all the resources maintenance and payments for staff and teachers, there are a lot of grants and scholarships and we shouldn't be left alone there. For International Students as well, we come here because the heart of the industry is here in Hollywood.

Overall Experience: I would not change my teachers! The ones I had this semester were awesome and I expect the same in the future. What I do recommend is homework little by little so it doesn't all come together, our classes are long so we should be able to do things in class.

Overall Experience: Here I must say, there's a problem. Pedro Fernandes, my admissions counselor was awesome! So I thought that I would have the same here. The truth is I didn't, at least with the specialist in finance Brian Koplow and a girl at the International Office, I don't recall her name. The Chinese girl was very friendly though. It looks like they say you can't work because of the reduced time you have but the truth is that it probably takes time from them to make a work permit. Legally I am able to work 20 hours a week. That should be my problem I would manage, I need to do it. Networking reduces just in NYFA, it's a small school we all know each other, we should be taken or included in other activities-memberships. If we wait to work until we graduate we are doomed. They show us how to work, but we need Public Relations. I am a professional PR and I know this is a fact. The services are good, they do need more people at the cafeteria. We have reduced brakes and all of us need to eat something. Also they need to have rooms only for consultations.

Academic Experience: My MFA in Acting for Film is very complete. I like the fact that they show you from scratch. I'm very busy! The facilities could be better, being so expensive. They need to have internship and job opportunities, I have an F1 and I could work 20 hours a week at school for example, without having problems in homework. That I must say was not a very nice experience because I just went and reported I came in and that was about it, they haven't asked or helped financially, like if they were only interested in me paying. I did say at the beginning I was struggling with that. When I talked to the person in charge, he basically did nothing for me but just hear my situation.

Overall Experience: They have helped me a lot, I'm getting o be a good actor because of them. What I do wish is that they could give me a higher scholarship or help me to stay in school while I get a grant.

Academic Flexibility: Most of my credits has been transfered. The scedule is well made and allows us to have classes, as well be focused on shooting our projects films.

Overall Experience: Teachers are always available for us. We can take extra classes. Size of classes are good, we are 12. The classes we have throughout the 3 years are acting based, but we also have general classes related to acting, like psychology of performence, film art... Also, toward the end of the program, we have more classes that will help us to "survive" and find a job after school (like auditions classes, how to sell ourselves...)
