Advice on Finding a Job/Internship
The best way to find a job or internship is to go onto the Highlander Pipeline (a Web portal given to every NJIT student) and check out what's available. Once a student finds a desirable position, he or she should apply immediately. Also, new students should stop by the Career Development Services to drop off a resume and explain what they are looking for so the staff can also help find them an internship. Students should present a strong background with ample awards or leadership positions to gain these positions faster.
