Health & Safety: One thing that makes me feel most secure are the free security escort beepers that are available to all students on campus. They're very easy to acquire and put on your key chain. If needed in an emergency situation, you simply press 2 buttons and campus safety will arrive to the scene within 1-2 minutes.

Overall Experience: It depends on what courses you take. I noticed that since the speech program here is so strong, it's because the faculty is fantastic at their jobs. They know what they're talking about and are helpful toward you reaching success. Other professors that teach PEQ courses however, can be more shakey and I sometimes feel as though I'm in a high school setting again.

Campus Housing: The housing offers everything you may need, meaning things like washer/dryer, showers, bathrooms, kitchen, etc.. however the condition these amenities are in is what concerns me sometimes. There are also issues with bugs in the rooms, however the rooms themselves are spacious and offer a perfect amount of storage space.

Athletics: At Nazareth college, we show our school pride in a variety of ways but athletics, in my experience, is not the strongest form of appreciation for our pride.

Overall Experience: The first day I stepped on campus, I knew I wanted to pursue my career as a Speech-Language Pathologist at Nazareth College. The atmosphere is always upbeat and happy, everyone here is so kind. My experience with my professors has been one that others dream of because they consistently show they care and want every student to succeed.

My school is unique for a variety of reasons but I would say the main one stems from our open-mindedness and appreciation for the many cultures our world offers us. Diversity, inclusion, interfaith dialogue are only a few important things Nazareth embraces to build on with their students and faculty as well. Naz emphasizes the importance of mental and emotional health at the same level of importance as physical health which helps me in appreciating my school on an even deeper level.

I love where I chose to go to school and wouldn't trade where I'm at for the world.

Party Scene: It's fun but it gets old and repetitive quickly because of lack of options and distance.

3 College Freshman

Party Scene: Parties only take place off of campus at the sports houses or at vinyl. No party activity on campus have to drive for atlas 10 minutes to get close to one.

2 College Freshman

Academics: My professors look like they hate their lives. A's are the easiest thing to get here, no work required. My major is not largest it is relatively ignored and not given a lot of class options. My advisor constantly disappoints and frustrates me. One of my friends was harassed by his professor and ended up leaving campus because of it. Workload for my major is so easy. I spend about an hour on homework in-total a week and I have a 4.0 .

2 College Freshman

Diversity: Most students come from the same background and places. Not very diverse at all.

1 College Freshman

Drug Safety: You can find drugs anywhere and there is little done to stop it. I have seen a campus security officer go up to a student smoking from a bong, say "I don't want to deal with that, man. Go somewhere else." and walk away. Drugs are very easy to find since there is basically a dealer on every floor. Get used to the smell of weed because it is everywhere. People smoke in classrooms sometimes. Drinking is constant. Most of Kearney is drunk on thursday nights and nothing is done to fix it. They only write up the students if another student complains. If not, keep drinking.

Health & Safety: The health center is kind and understand. They do not judge and make you comfortable. However they do misdiagnosis things on almost a daily basis. Campus safety is the biggest joke on campus. Drug use is prominent and campus threats aren't handled as they should be.

Overall Experience: This school makes me want to drop out atlas once a week. The classes are easy and you can get an A with minimal effort. The professors are rarely good and most for my major are useless and self absorbed. My advisor ignores me and doesn't do his job. This school may be my biggest life regret. If you are not part of the physical therapy, theatre, or nursing programs here you basically do not exist and can float by. The activities are disorganized and clubs are constantly bombarding you with emails. Nazareth is the worst decision I've ever made and I can not wait to leave. The classes are small but there is not a lot of variety with in my major for courses. We only have enough courses to graduate.

3 College Freshman

Overall Experience: My teachers went here so I thought it would be a good school. Currently I have not learned anything about my major and feel like when it comes time to find a career my lack of learned skills will not help me become successful.

3 College Freshman

Campus Housing: My room is good because I lucked out for my first-year. However my roommates were not picked well. As for rules everyone looks the other way and doesn't acknowledge the amounts of illegal activity that happen in the halls.

1 College Freshman

Overall Experience: I honestly hate it here. Every day i am miserable. My adviser and teachers make my life hell. I have never wanted to transfer so badly. I want to drop out everyday.

Campus Housing: As a freshman I am packed into the Kearney Residence Hall. It is not terrible, but the freshman students are typically noisy at night and do not generally listen to authority figures about rules. Next year, I am living in a quieter section of Nazareth in a single room with more mature students. I am very excited about the transition! I feel my opinions on campus housing will definitely increase by next year.

Athletics: I admire how Nazareth treats sports and other clubs equally. At some schools, sports overwhelms everything else, but at Nazareth there is a diversity in extracurricular activities. The school encourages community service, leadership, and teamwork. Even so, Nazareth definitely demonstrates fan support and school spirit. It is very common to see other students wearing purple and gold or logos with Nazareth printed all over them!

5 College Freshman

Overall Experience: I am so happy I chose to come to Nazareth College. I feel like I am a part of something bigger than myself. Each day I am challenged academically. I am treated with respect and kindness on a daily basis. I feel like I am a part of the Nazareth community.

Health & Safety: I feel extremely safe on campus. We have a Security Escort and Blue light system on campus. The security escort is a beeper that is easily attached to your keys which, when pressed, alert campus safety that you are either having a medical emergency or are being attacked. The device can tell campus safety where you are on campus, as well as identifying you specifically.

Overall Experience: All of the professors I have had have been great. They make sure all of their students understand the material by taking the time to answer questions in class and offering office hours. All of my professors from my classes related to my major had the chance to know me as an individual due to the small class sizes which have been wonderful. During the application process for dental school, I found that because my professors knew me, it was easier to ask them to write a letter of recommendation and that the recommendation would be of better quality than if I went to a larger university where the professors might not know me well.

4 College Senior

Overall Experience: Career services on this campus really work to make sure there is a variety of potential job opportunities listed on "Hire a Flyer", as well as representatives present at job fairs in the Spring.

3 College Senior

Campus Housing: Compared to other colleges or universities, I have found that the dorm rooms at Naz are a good size. The cleanliness of the building completely depends on the cleanliness of the people living there. For example, freshmen dorms tend to be worse than upperclassmen housing because freshmen can be less respectful of the shared spaces.

4 College Senior

Athletics: Fan support and school spirit is entirely dependant on the sport. For example, since we have a good volleyball program, students are more likely to attend and support the team. On the other hand, although the swim team is good, it is not a popular sport, so fewer students go in support.

4 College Senior

Overall Experience: If I were to start all over, I would still choose Nazareth College. This is because all of my teachers have been extremely nice and helpful. Also, as a Biology major, I loved being able to use the new science building (Peckham Hall) where I spent most of my undergraduate career attending class/lab, studying, and tutoring other students. Thanks to Naz's wonderful environment I was able to grow as an individual which lead to my being accepted to dental school which has been my goal since I was very young.

4 College Sophomore

Health & Safety: Campus Safety is great and they ensure that everyone is safe.
