Greek Life: We actually don't have greek life on campus so I'm not sure what to say.

4 College Sophomore

Health & Safety: Our campus safety officers are wonderful and I definitely feel safe knowing that they are close by.

Overall Experience: The classes that I've taken in my major (CSD) are great and I learn a lot and the professors are great. The required Core classes can be pretty awful if you have a bad professor or if you have very little interest in the area.

4 College Sophomore

Overall Experience: From what I've heard, there are a lot of opportunities for internships. People in the health sciences have a great advantage with the WRI and the on campus clinic.

3 College Sophomore

Campus Housing: Any complaint I have will probably be found in almost every single college in the country. The communal showers can be gross, people don't always flush the toilets, people sometimes leave food in the sinks and that gets disgusting, the microwaves could be cleaned more often, and sometimes you live next to loud, annoying people.

Athletics: Since we are a small school, there aren't a ton of sports teams, but the ones we have get ample support from the regulars. We have two workout facilities, one that is just for athletes and one that is open for everyone. The latter is very small, which is annoying because if you want to use the elliptical but all three are taken, you're out of luck for a while.

Overall Experience: My college is incredibly inclusive towards people with disabilities, and these policies and ideas create accepting, accommodating, and understanding students. The small size allows for a great sense of community and all the different clubs on campus allow you to get so involved. There are a ton of leadership and community outreach opportunities. I love it here, it's great. The food could be better though.

Health & Safety: This campus is one of the safest in the area. Campus safety does a great job at responding to possible threats, and they are never more than five minutes away from an incident. Most of the time it's a false alarm, but those few times that the threats are real, they handle the situation very well. They have events on campus to help teach students how to defend themselves, sponsored by the red cross, but campus crime seems rather low, and I feel comfortable walking around even at night.

Overall Experience: Overall, all facilities are well-kept and they look nice. There are a lot of courses offered, and it's easy to switch majors, depending on which majors you want to switch. Class sizes are generally small, but could be larger, although this does not, in any way, inhibit the teachers' lessons or ability to teach. The professors are great, and I have no problems with them, although the coursework can become excessive at times.

4 College Freshman

Overall Experience: The advisors and teachers all seem interested in helping their students succeed in finding jobs after college, and in finding internships in college. There are plenty of opportunities on campus to get jobs and work study, but I must say that there should be more employers recruiting on campus.

Campus Housing: The options for housing are great. You can live in a single, double, triple, suite, and basically any other option available. The cost of housing is high, and I really haven't seen it pay off yet, so the value to me is not the greatest. They are close to the rest of campus, though, so that is a bonus. Overall I would give it a 4 out of 5.

Athletics: There is a lot of school spirit when it comes to sports, and the hockey games are among my favorite to attend. There are plenty of sports clubs on campus, however they are not as important as the varsity sports. The gym and other sports facilities are sub-par in my opinion, and could be improved upon.

4 College Freshman

Overall Experience: The teachers are very interested in what they're teaching, and this really helps to improve the quality of the education. They use their resources effectively, and are generally consistent and helpful to their students. Some of my favorite memories are from choir, where I met some of my best friends, and had the greatest performance experiences. My school offers a large amount of student resources, and there are plenty of campus activities to manage stress, and generally have a good time, and I am very proud that my school sponsors plenty of study abroad programs.

4 College Freshman

Health & Safety: One thing that makes me feel most secure are the free security escort beepers that are available to all students on campus. They're very easy to acquire and put on your key chain. If needed in an emergency situation, you simply press 2 buttons and campus safety will arrive to the scene within 1-2 minutes.

3 College Freshman

Overall Experience: It depends on what courses you take. I noticed that since the speech program here is so strong, it's because the faculty is fantastic at their jobs. They know what they're talking about and are helpful toward you reaching success. Other professors that teach PEQ courses however, can be more shakey and I sometimes feel as though I'm in a high school setting again.

3 College Freshman

Campus Housing: The housing offers everything you may need, meaning things like washer/dryer, showers, bathrooms, kitchen, etc.. however the condition these amenities are in is what concerns me sometimes. There are also issues with bugs in the rooms, however the rooms themselves are spacious and offer a perfect amount of storage space.

Athletics: At Nazareth college, we show our school pride in a variety of ways but athletics, in my experience, is not the strongest form of appreciation for our pride.

5 College Freshman

Overall Experience: The first day I stepped on campus, I knew I wanted to pursue my career as a Speech-Language Pathologist at Nazareth College. The atmosphere is always upbeat and happy, everyone here is so kind. My experience with my professors has been one that others dream of because they consistently show they care and want every student to succeed.

My school is unique for a variety of reasons but I would say the main one stems from our open-mindedness and appreciation for the many cultures our world offers us. Diversity, inclusion, interfaith dialogue are only a few important things Nazareth embraces to build on with their students and faculty as well. Naz emphasizes the importance of mental and emotional health at the same level of importance as physical health which helps me in appreciating my school on an even deeper level.

I love where I chose to go to school and wouldn't trade where I'm at for the world.

3 College Freshman

Party Scene: It's fun but it gets old and repetitive quickly because of lack of options and distance.

3 College Freshman

Party Scene: Parties only take place off of campus at the sports houses or at vinyl. No party activity on campus have to drive for atlas 10 minutes to get close to one.

2 College Freshman

Academics: My professors look like they hate their lives. A's are the easiest thing to get here, no work required. My major is not largest it is relatively ignored and not given a lot of class options. My advisor constantly disappoints and frustrates me. One of my friends was harassed by his professor and ended up leaving campus because of it. Workload for my major is so easy. I spend about an hour on homework in-total a week and I have a 4.0 .

2 College Freshman

Diversity: Most students come from the same background and places. Not very diverse at all.

1 College Freshman

Drug Safety: You can find drugs anywhere and there is little done to stop it. I have seen a campus security officer go up to a student smoking from a bong, say "I don't want to deal with that, man. Go somewhere else." and walk away. Drugs are very easy to find since there is basically a dealer on every floor. Get used to the smell of weed because it is everywhere. People smoke in classrooms sometimes. Drinking is constant. Most of Kearney is drunk on thursday nights and nothing is done to fix it. They only write up the students if another student complains. If not, keep drinking.

3 College Freshman

Health & Safety: The health center is kind and understand. They do not judge and make you comfortable. However they do misdiagnosis things on almost a daily basis. Campus safety is the biggest joke on campus. Drug use is prominent and campus threats aren't handled as they should be.

2 College Freshman

Overall Experience: This school makes me want to drop out atlas once a week. The classes are easy and you can get an A with minimal effort. The professors are rarely good and most for my major are useless and self absorbed. My advisor ignores me and doesn't do his job. This school may be my biggest life regret. If you are not part of the physical therapy, theatre, or nursing programs here you basically do not exist and can float by. The activities are disorganized and clubs are constantly bombarding you with emails. Nazareth is the worst decision I've ever made and I can not wait to leave. The classes are small but there is not a lot of variety with in my major for courses. We only have enough courses to graduate.
