4 College Freshman

Academic Flexibility: Teachers give plenty of time to work in class and sometimes let the class go early if the lesson is finished.

Academic Experience: I can express myself through gaming more than anything else, and learning to make games will help me do that even more and get paid for it.

Academic Flexibility: I live almost three hours away from the only college in the state that offers my degree and I cannot get all my courses online and have to travel to the college campus adding miles and wear and tare on my vehicle as well as time and gas that I do not have to spend. I was not told everything I needed when I went to my first scheduled appointment to get into classes and with enrollment and had to drive back to the college on another date. I had informed them of the distance I was traveling. I wish I could speak better of this college. I really like a couple of the professors I have had.

Online Courses: You don't get the benefit of being in class and learning per-say hands on, but I am able to complete my work around my life schedule. I am able to attend college and save drive and class time. I am able to do my school work, work a part time job, home school three children, and be a mother all at the same time. I am grateful for online courses. I am able to order my books online and delivered to my home, as well as enroll myself into my classes all on my own from my home.

Overall Experience: Up until this last semester I have not liked this college or its facility. I was not taught by one of my professors in my first semester and the college refused to give me back half of the cost for that class unless I dropped the course. I was told this information three days prior to the end of the semester. I was ignored by my other professor. In my second semester I had trouble with one of my two courses. My teacher gave a quiz each week, but you could not answer the questions correctly. It was multiply choice or true or false, but neither would be the correct response. She did give points back, but course was very stressful. In my third semester I loved both my professors, but had an adviser place me in a course that she said I did not have to take, that I had tested high enough to opt out of the course. I took the course for nothing, wasting my time and money. I do feel the material they taught was accurate other than the one quiz a week course.

Academic Experience: I enjoy the work involved for my education. I love the career I have chosen. I like two of the professors I have had very well. They cared about me learning and my education. I will enjoy the internship when I get to that stage in my schooling. I do not feel the work load is to much at this point.

3 College Junior

Overall Experience: My first semester I had two professors. I had to contact the head of the department on both my professor's. One the college could not even get into touch with for over two weeks and the other ignored my emails in regards to the assignments she posted. My second semester I had a professor that gave a quiz every week, but you could not answer them do to the wording. She even went back and regraded each students work finding that I was correct on the quizzes not having either answer as the correct one. My third semester, my adviser put me in a class that I did not have to take due to testing out of. I am now about to enter my forth semester and pray it is better than the previous three. I would switch colleges, but no other colleges offer my degree in the state of Arkansas.
