Best Place for Continuing Education – I am extremely satisfied with Nashville State Community College. Before coming here, I tried two other schools and had a horrible experience at both. Nashville State is friendly and small which is exactly what I need. They really seem to care about their students' success which in turn makes me feel more confident about my own abilities. Nashville State has consistently won the Nashville Scene Reader Poll's "Best Place For Continuing Education" award for at least a decade. They've done this in competition with schools like Vanderbilt, Lipscomb, and Belmont which are all in the same area. It really speaks to how good they are that students would choose this school year after year out of all of the many other schools in the area. I love Nashville State! My only regret is that they only offer two year degrees. I will be very sad when I have to leave.

Best School for Crime Scene! This school is amazing when it comes to a crime scene or criminal justice degree. The teachers are all former crime scene workers, AND police. They have a lot of experience in their fields, and are happy to assist you with any questions you may have. There are several papers to cover, but otherwise it's a hands-on experience all the way. The teachers still keep in contact with Metro Nashville Police, as well as several other county police groups. They always know when there is an opportunity for an internship, and they will speak to someone to help you get a job in your desired location.

It's interesting! It provides me with the inside on how to proficiently run an business. The program is pretty laid back and the curriculum is great because it gives the students an inside on how the business industry operates from different angles and how to address different situations head on. The facility itself is coming along because there are alot of remodeling taking place. I'm not sure about the internship/job opportunities yet.
