Campus Resources: I really enjoy Napa's library. I spend a majority of my time there doing work.

Overall Experience: If I could do it all over again, starting from the beginning; I'd have to say that I would choose Napa Valley College all over again. I enjoy the peaceful environment, it makes it easier to focus on what I'm there for: to learn. The professors help in any way they can and they truly care. The warm welcoming smiles of the staff allow good vibes to spread around the campus. No one has to feel like they don't belong, because no one is an outsider. We're like a big family, helping one another the best ways we can to ensure that we all succeed.

Overall Experience: At this school, there are a variety of courses offered. I am currently enrolled in Anthropology. English, Math, Child Development, and Psychology. These classes have been great so far, along with my professors. The professors ensure that no matter how an individual is able to pay for his or her classes, that they'll receive high quality education.

Overall Experience: My overall experience at Napa Valley College for my first semester was enjoyable. I truly believe that a degree from this school would be as promising as any other school. One must pull their own weight, but the people on campus make the weight easier to handle.

Online Courses: The online course I was previously enrolled in last semester, was Child Development 120. It had been my first experience with an online course. I found it to be easier than being in a classroom. The assigned work was very straight forward and my professor quickly responded to my emails whenever I'd double check something with him. The discussion board that was on our website we used, was always overflowing with student participation. I was able to learn so much from that course and I'd highly recommend taking another online class in the future.

Student Body: The students at my school are very accepting. I haven't noticed anyone leaving a certain person out due to their differences. There are all sorts of cliques, but everyone fits into one. I've noticed that despite having cliques, there is also unity among the students. We all interact in simple ways, regardless of our ethnicities or amount of money we have.

Tuition & Financial Aid: My current tuition was covered by Financial aid/ BOGS waiver that I was eligible for. Despite me not actually paying, I still believe that the education I'm getting is worth it. The financial aid office was very helpful, they guided me when I was having a difficult time filing for the aid. They would often call and check up, making sure that I successfully filed for my financial aid.

Career Services: At Napa Valley College, they provide many opportunities for post-grad individuals. I am not quite familiar with how the system works, but as of what I'm seeing, many post-graduates return to NVC to participate around the school to pay a certain debt of gratitude.

Academic Experience: The workload I have for my major is understandable. I spend quite a few hours reading the material needed for all of my classes and I enjoy doing so. I wouldn't have gone to college if I didn't know what I was getting myself into. Beforehand, I was already aware of what I came there for and despite the workload, I believe with my own dedication and perseverance that I'll be able to strive and reach my goals.

Academic Experience: Napa Valley College is filled with great professors. They truly reach out more than they need to in trying to teach every individual. My math professor in particular, doesn't move onto the next lesson unless every single one of her students were able to keep up and comprehend what she was teaching. I love that, since everyone works at their own pace. No one gets left behind. Same goes for my other professors. They're very dedicated to their job and make sure they do their job well.

Campus Resources: Napa Valley College has environmental friendly resources. The campus library is very peaceful and is a wonderful place to sit back and study. The employed workers at the library are respectful and attend to any problems students may be facing within that building. I greatly appreciate the people at the front desk, right when students walk in, we're greeted with a warm smile. For a college student to encounter that type of greeting after long and stressful classes, it surely is comforting.

Tuition & Financial Aid: Its not too much and very affordable

Campus Resources: The librarians are ok but everything else is great.

4 College Junior

Student Body: Very ethnically diverse due to the surrounding towns where many of the students come from. Many cultures clash and interact at this college. Its located in an affluent tourist town, but is near a town know for violence and crime. Despite this the students often work together and study collaboratively in student instruction sessions. Among the students there is a high level of acceptance as I've seen so far.

College Junior

Career Services: I have not used these services.
