4 College Sophomore

Overall Experience: My experience with courses and professors has thankfully been fairly good. My first semester I was lucky enough to get a great english and math professor. They truly cared about student success and education. I feel that I only had one professor that wanted to retire and so stopped caring for student success.

3 College Sophomore

Overall Experience: The value of a degree from this school is becoming more and more recognized.

3 College Sophomore

Online Courses: I haven't taken an online course and never plan to. From what I've heard, the online courses are way too difficult and ruin GPAs.

3 College Sophomore

Student Body: The typical student here is a very tunnel vision type of student. Get to classes, finish schooling here and get out. They don't try their hardest to get involved which is unfortunate because when they go to transfer or write up their resume, all they have to put is they got straight A's in their classes.

Tuition & Financial Aid: I hate going through financial aid here. Every single time I've submitted my FAFSA, they always want documents from me to verify my FAFSA. It's annoying and an inconvenience. They have also claimed it's a random check they do, yet for three years straight, I've "randomly" been selected to receive verification.

3 College Sophomore

Career Services: Well, there isn't much I know about any of these things. I know we have an outstanding career center and counselors that try their best to get students set up with an ed plan. I'm not sure about an alumni network or job prospects.

3 College Sophomore

Academic Experience: For my major, I feel like I'm a minority. This school focuses more on the culinary arts, performing arts and nursing occupations. The performing arts recently received a new luxurious building, as well as the biological science. The STEM majors are still located in a basement away from the rest of the campus. It's quite unfortunate that core classes like Math, English and Chemistry got left out in the renovating.

4 College Sophomore

Academic Experience: The professors can be a coin toss. We have some really amazing teachers that truly care about student success and education but then there are some obvious ones that only care about a paycheck. Class registration is a pain, but then again, it's a pain anywhere you go. There is a program I'm associated with and it's called MESA. It umbrellas another program called SHPE and if it weren't for these two programs, I would be so lost with my educational career.

4 College Sophomore

Campus Resources: There are many resources for students. We have a Student Activities Center being renovated, a Math Center for tutoring, an English Center, a fairly new and very modern library that houses many more resources. However, whether these resources are being advertised enough is another issue.

4 College Junior

Academic Flexibility: There are plenty of classes to choose from.

3 College Junior

Overall Experience: My favorite thing about this school is its location.

3 College Junior

Overall Experience: Just like any other college, there are good and bad teachers.

3 College Junior

Overall Experience: I'm getting a good education, but I am not getting a college experience.

1 College Junior

Online Courses: I have yet to take an online class.

1 College Junior

Tuition & Financial Aid: Many kids do not get the financial aid they need.
