Academic Flexibility: MSJC is very good at working around your schedule as they offer both online and on-campus classes for all ranges of schedules.

Online Courses: The online courses offered at MSJC are perhaps that best that I've encountered so far of any college. The teachers have their program outlined and repeated through many years. Therefore making the online courses perfected, at least to the teachers' teaching style.

Career Services: Job prospects after graduation is all up to the student. However, MSJC makes it very easy to find your footing in starting your career in the real world. If anything, there are plenty of professors that I've met that have put their name on the line to help introduce the student to the professor's network of potential job outlooks.

Overall Experience: The professors at MSJC are wonderful. They know their craft and are able to teach it well. After all the years I've spent here, I've gotten very comfortable traversing the campus and talking to the teachers. The classes are filled to the last desk, but the teachers and the lectures make it seem like you are in a classroom filled with like-minded students. The courses offered could be more varied, but what they offer is above basic and you're able to get everything you need to start your career and even transfer!

Overall Experience: I've heard and seen that the degrees from MSJC don't count for all that much when it comes to finding a job. However, no matter how you look at it, its the student that must go out and knock on opportunity's door and not the other way around. The school DOES give a very good outreach program as well as help you find footing in your career. It is unreasonable to expect a "given" successful-lifetime job from MSJC, as with any other school. The courses covered at MSJC can and should meet standards for all different types of careers in the real world.

Academic Experience: The teachers are very knowledgeable about their passion and you are able to learn a lot if you are interested even in the slightest.

Overall Experience: MSJC is great! It's a really open and friendly place to either start over or if you're just starting out as a college student!

Academic Flexibility: They run low on science classes, so its hard to get in.

4 College Junior

Online Courses: It depends on the teacher, if you have more or less homework than a classroom experience.

3 College Junior

Career Services: It is still only an associates degree.

4 College Junior

Overall Experience: The professors are very helpful, and willing to take the time to work with you.

4 College Junior

Overall Experience: MSJC is closely related with cal state schools to make an easy transition to continue the degree.

4 College Junior

Academic Experience: To be a mathematics major, is a lot of work, but it is very doable.

4 College Junior

Overall Experience: The tutoring staff in the LRC are very personable and are very helpful.

5 College Junior

Academic Experience: So far the program is preparing me to advance in my career and there is a lot of help.

4 College Junior

Overall Experience: I have liked all of my teachers and everyone on campus is very supportive and helpful.

4 College Junior

Academic Flexibility: As far as flexibility goes this school is excellent. They have several classes available under each course title which means I can choose the one that best suits my schedule. They also have the advantage of offering courses that cover some upper-level requirements in state schools which will make transferring easier in the future.

3 College Junior

Online Courses: Some professors use different platforms that can be a bit of a headache at times but overall the school uses blackboard in most classes, and it is easy to find everything in one place. I have not had any issues submitting my work and it has been great in some instances where I have to finish and submit papers early in order to get to work on time.

4 College Junior

Career Services: They make things very clear but also give a lot of options. I am an out of state student so they have also helped me plan when I can start receiving in state benefits.

3 College Junior

Overall Experience: The professors are mostly working other careers and teaching at other schools, so they have a lot of work on their plates but they do make the time to meet with students, and they also answer texts and emails quickly. Most professors will give you honest feedback about the current fields you are studying in and great resources to look up future jobs.

3 College Junior

Overall Experience: Since this is a school to get an associate's degree, it is more tailored toward getting students ready for completion of a degree at another school, though they do offer a lot of continuing education and occupational programs each semester that one may take in addition to an associate's degree.

4 College Junior

Academic Experience: I have switched majors from elementary education to environmental engineering, and it has been a little rough going from predominantly English classes to science and math. The teachers have been very understanding, though, and there are many other tutor and study sessions for free that have helped my understanding. The counseling staff has been great working for me to plan around my work and life schedules to fit in the necessary classes where I need them and postpone some of the required classes for slower periods like in the summer or at night.

3 College Junior

Overall Experience: The application process was very customized, and the admin staff worked hard to make sure I knew what was expected and what to expect. So far the classes are easy, but that is probably because the professors are very approachable and work hard for students who put in the effort. Classes do fill up quick, and it has been difficult getting into all the classes I want but overall the school is good for starting a major to transfer then to a state school to finish.

5 College Junior

Academic Flexibility: Class are very flexible and they also have a large selection of online classes.

5 College Junior

Online Courses: I love the online courses.

Mt. San Jacinto College is filled with classes that cover an abundance of subjects. Its classes cover subjects from psychology to theater history. All of the classes are eye-openers for students who are interested in certain fields or for students who are trying to choose a field as a career goal. Through classes, students can attend different subjects and can find which one interests them the most. One unique feature that MSJC is known for is its library and learning center, which help students who need tutoring or instructions on how to properly set up an essay. The Learning Resource Center is a large room with desks and white boards for tutoring. At the end of the learning center room, computers are provided for students who need to work on group projects or need to take online tests. MSJC’s library also provides desktops and desks for students who need them for studies, and it also has Wi-Fi for students who use their own laptops. Library aids are there to answer student questions or to help them find the right books and articles for their projects. The library even has a printing room for students to print their homework. Students need to buy a copy card first in order to use the machine. The school has provided many class subjects, and tutoring has helped students improve on their studies. The school is filled with people of many personalities and interests. Some students openly express the major they are interested in, such as dancers practicing their dance routines and uniformed nurses practicing on dummies. Students have agreed that most of the students are kind and easygoing people, but they are mostly just there for their classes. Overall, this is a school that can be good for socializing with kind people or exploring other class subjects that might have been overlooked the first time.
