Off-Campus Dining: You can never get hungry in Sumter. They have EVERTHING to eat. Better than the cafe food. Paying for it is worth it.

Administration: No Co-Ed, which is really depressing on this campus. But, the security guards are really cool people. They let you slide with a lot of things.

Party Scene: Partying wise at Morris College is not bad at all. From Club Cream, XClusions, The Sigma House, and the socials they hold on campus... it's pretty fun. We even travel to Columbia to party too.

Campus Food: You might as well go grocery shopping before eating at the cafe because all they're going to serve you is HOTDOGS and HAMBURGERS. But, we have an "okay" meal on some occasions.

Campus Housing: Living on campus is not bad, but could be better. It tends to get boring, especially on weekends. The school is really small, so everybody know everybody. It's just like a big high school. You have to make the best of it. Be careful on what you do, say, or who you're with.. cause it gets around quick.

Scholarships: I apply for financial aid every year and I have yet to receive any. Even though I do not qualify, the financial aid office does not communicate information well with me and my parent regarding awards,

Overall Experience: There isn't much unique about Morris College other than it's still run in an old fashion way. The website does not have any upcoming events posted, any thing as far as upcoming events are posted on flyers or on social media. There is no online application, I had to go into the admissions office to apply for admission. If I had to do it all over, I would not do it all over.

Campus Quality: I currently do not live on campus and I do not hang out on campus outside of class. I do not know much about the athletic center or student center. The library is very helpful however, the late hours really help with my work schedule. My only complaint about the library is not all of the computers have Microsoft Word/ Office. This can be inconvenient when it comes to writing papers on campus. A few months ago, my personal laptop crashed and I had to rely on the school computers to type papers. The campus has a few different computer labs but not all have the necessary software to get the job done.

Greek Life: I'm currently not involved in Greek life and it is not very active around campus.

Academics: My current major at Morris College is Mass Communications. I enjoy the subject because media is one of my biggest passions. I enjoy reading, speaking, and writing to get information and to get information out. The course load for this major can be challenging but also very rewarding. It seems as though I couldn't really start my major classes because there is only one prerequisite. This means, that I had to take electives and minor classes just to keep my full course load. I understand that minor classes as well as electives are important but it can be frustrating taking classes that are not going to be used in my field of choice.

Academics: Morris College's professors are great for the most part. Most of them are easy to get in contact with and are very understanding when they are communicated with. There are a few that I have trouble getting in touch with outside of school. Things such as questions about homework, class information if I have missed a class, and other common questions students need to get directly from the professors. The curriculum is decent. A lot of the general courses that students are required to take upon admission, are elementary. They felt like a repeat of high school classes so the workload was very familiar.
