Off-Campus Housing: When you live off campus, it's nice because you have more freedom then living on campus. You don't have to worry about visitation rules and hours. You can have parties etc etc. But the cons are that it's a little trip to get to campus if you dont have a car. And I feel like people who live off campus will be less involved on campus then people who live on campus just because of convenience. But i would choose living off campus to living on campus at Morgan.

Off-Campus Dining: I don't really go off campus to eat. I usually order pizza, it's an average price. I also go to Chipotle which the shuttle takes you to.

Administration: The visitation rules and hours in most of the dorms is crazy. Monday to Thursday, visitation is from 4pm to 10pm. Friday and Saturday visitation is from about 3pm to 12AM. And on Sundays it's from 4pm-11Pm. I might be off by a couple of hours but basically the rules are so strict when it comes to visitation.

Party Scene: There a lot of parties on campus at Thurgood. They are usually pretty good (depending on who's throwing it). There are also parties at Marble Hall (Off campus residential area affiliated with Morgan State). It's a walk for those who don't have cars and too close to campus to call a cab. But usually the walk ends up worth it.

Scholarships: Morgan in generally is a very slow school when it comes to getting what you need, it just took a while for me to get the financial aid I deserved.

Campus Food: On campus, there is a Subway, Auntie Anne's, the Refac (dining hall) and the Canteen (dining hall). I usually go to the Refac because it is more convenient (it is right next to me dorm). But during the day when I have classes, I usually go to the Canteen for lunch. Depending on the day and what is being served in the Refac, I would prefer either or. Besides Wednesdays (Fried Chicken Wednesdays in the Refac), the Canteen mostly has the better food to me.

Campus Housing: For girls, there are 3 dorm buildings to choose from. Blount (all girl dorm), where I reside, is the worst option. The elevators are so slow, most of the girls that tend to live there are very loud and obnoxious. I feel like there's too many girls in one building (there are 8 floors). Harper (all girl dorm) is the honors/athletes dorm. There are only 3 floors, and all though the rooms are very small and cramped compared to Blount, I feel like it's a better vibe. In Blount, there is one bathroom (with 2 regular showers and a handicapped one) shared with the girls in your hall (so about 8 to 10 girls). In Harper, there is a connected bathroom to every 2 rooms so a bathroom is shared between just 4 girls. Both Harper and Blount have visitation rules and hours. The other dorm building on campus to choose from for girls is Thurgood. Thurgood is for both males and females and is apartment styled. (Though you can only stay in a suite with your gender). There is a kitchen, a small living room and 4 rooms where 2 people live in each. And theres one bathroom for everyone in the suite. Thurgood technically has "visitation rules and hours" too but because it is apartment like and the RA's live in a separate building.. you can have visitors as you please.

Administration: They treat us like children with visitation rules. I personally don't have visitors but they need to loosen up.

Scholarships: The people act like they don't want to help you and they send you on the run around.

Party Scene: Most parties or off campus so the students who don't have cars have to try and catch a shuttle to get there. The shuttles are inconvenient because they only send one.

Campus Food: On some days the food is good, but on others the food sucks. They could do so much better.

Campus Housing: The housing on campus is average. The elevators in my dorm are horrible though. They're always breaking down or getting stuck. The cleaning staff could do a better job. The resident director seems to never b e around when you need her. There are also a lot of fights in the dorms that no one knows about unless you've witnessed it or someone has called the cops.
