5 College Junior

Overall Experience: I feel like I have the opportunity to teach my potential.

4 College Junior

Overall Experience: I feel like there's a lot I can accomplish

5 College Junior

Health & Safety: Safest Campus in the State. Suck on that UK

3 College Junior

Campus Housing: They need to do better about preventing drugs in freshman dorms.

2 College Junior

Greek Life: My last roommate said that they used him being late on dues as an excuse to kick him out temporarily because the club wasn't as popular as they used to be. My roommate spent most of his time at work getting money to pay for tuition and dues and class and playing a star wars mmorpg. It's not his fault that there were some new popular jocks on campus.

3 College Junior

Athletics: They bring in a lot of students in scholarships who otherwise wouldn't have this opportunity.

Overall Experience: The teachers generally have a big heart, but they don't generally go too far out of their way to teach one on one outside of answering questions. Its all about finding a teacher with a good curriculum or class plan. Also, there's a significant presence of one ethnicity of foreign students from one country who make trouble for the rest of the class. No matter which class it is. If there's 5-9 of these particular students in the class the teacher has to go out of their way to enforce academic honesty and slow down the material so they can try to keep up. Also, be prepared to smell pot. Almost every class these students are in they make smell like their pot. It's like the school is begging them to come spend their foreign money here and is taking too many precautions to keep these law breakers here. I'm not being racist, I've talked to them and they say that these actions they do are part of their culture at their home.

Party Scene: Its fun at first. But, there isn't a lot off options when going out for the night. Frats throw parties only on Thursday, any other time its for something important, like homecoming. Mostly frat parties are mostly attended by greek members. Its kinda annoying. Athletes/ sport teams have small house parties, but you can only go by invite or know someone from the team. There are two bars, but they are only open one night a week.

Academics: Professors felt like they were trying to be friends with you rather than your teacher.

3 Recent Alumnus

Diversity: There is some diversity with race and culture.

Drug Safety: Finding someone with alcohol or that can buy it is very easy. Basically, everyone here drinks( but, I think that's how every college is) There is a liquor store right off campus.

2 Recent Alumnus

Overall Experience: Hated every minute there. I have to start all over at a new school just to redo the damage they did in helping me with my future.

2 Recent Alumnus

Overall Experience: They didn't really teach me anything that would help in my field or getting a job with it.

3 Recent Alumnus

Health & Safety: Don't really have an opinion on it

3 Recent Alumnus

Campus Housing: They're just dorms. Nothing really terrible, but its based on where you live at. My first year, the dorm was terrible, which made me start living at a friend apartment during last few weeks of the school year.

Greek Life: They seem nice at first. But, after a while you notice that they only care about social status. I tried rushing a sorority, and it was miserable. The girls only wanted to know the basics, like my name, my major, and where I was from. Then they only wanted to talk about themselves.

Athletics: I used to hangout with some athletes from each team on campus. You can really see and tell how certain sports are treated based on social status and popularity. Big sports like football and basketball get everything handed to them. Smaller sports hardly get any love.

Overall Experience: If I could put it into one sentence, it would be, 2 years wasted here. I went to Morehead to finish up my Bachelors. I went because family and friends went here, they always said it was the best school for me. Just the two years there made me felt like I was lied too. Frist, I didn't really learn anything in my field to help me when I graduated. Second, they only care about getting their name out there. Third, student body is not very diverse, such as they only care about athletes, students in on-campus organizations(student clubs and greek life), if you are not any of these you mostly treated like dirt. Sadly, I have to go back to school to redo the damage this place did for my future. Thanks!
