Academic Flexibility: Classes are not very convenient. They are only offered at certain times on certain campuses. Some classes are available on IVC or online. I had to take an online class, which I didn't understand, because it was only offered on another campus. Not enough people signed up for it to be on my campus.

Online Courses: I myself am not an online learner, but I am capable of doing an online course if it's under the right teacher. I wouldn't say there is any unique features other than being able to submit from google docs. The one online class I have taken so far I hated. We usually had about 6-7 assignments due each week, which was pretty hefty along with my 5 other classes. There was so much work to do that I was late on most assignments, because I didn't understand when it was due. It was pretty easy registration, just like any other class. I do not like that some courses are only offered on certain campuses during certain semesters. If they don't fit into your schedule, or you can't drive there you have to take your class online. The one online course I took I had a bad relationship with my teacher, which caused me to almost fail. Interaction with peers was limited to email and texting.

Overall Experience: All but 3 of my courses have made sense to me as to why I should have to take them. Everything involved in those courses has seemed applicable to what I'd like to do. I enjoyed most of my teachers, expect for a few that seemed to go out of their way the make the course difficult to understand, and to pass. I personally have had conflict with 2 of my teachers. I felt like one just personally did not like me, and the other just seemed to take off points on purpose. There isn't a huge variety of courses offered, but that is understandable for a technical college. I like the style of most classes, besides online classes. I think they're difficult to follow unless you've already had a teacher in person. I really like the class sizes, because they're small and really allow you to get to know the people you'll be working with over the course of the semester.

Overall Experience: There is constantly recruiters on campus, and if you're a student there's a website you can access to help you find job openings for your degree.

Academic Experience: I like that there isn't any fluff classes included in my program. Everything we do is applicable to a future career. Depending on the class there can be a large amount of work or a small amount of work. I wouldn't say any of it is hard if you show up. We have a lot of resources open for us to use to help us get information about basically anything.

Overall Experience: My favorite thing about this school is that they bring in a lot of knowledgeable people to talk to students about how to get jobs, and how to choose a field that's right for you. I think it's unique because it is very hand on learning, it isn't based oon tests, but on how you apply your knowledge in projects. I would choose my school again, because it is affordable and I believe it gives quality education. I would have to research some of my teachers before choosing their classes again.

Academic Flexibility: There is some flexibility with general classes, with different times/days offered as well as some offered online. There is no flexibility for the core program classes, There is an exact schedule of classes to take and have to rearrange personal obligations in order to attend classes.

Online Courses: None of the classes I need to take for my program are currently offered in an online format.

Academic Experience: The Medical Laboratory Technician program is very demanding. There is a heavy workload, 40 hrs per week devoted to classes and homework.

3 College Sophomore

Overall Experience: I have had a good experience with this school so far. Most of the general classes have several class times/days available to accommodate a busy schedule. However, the programs are set up with a very strict schedule of classes that includes both day and evening hours.
