Off-Campus Housing: I haven't personally experienced the process for off-campus housing, but I have friends who have. It sounds like it's hard to get on the waiting list for off-campus housing, but once it's done, there are plenty of places to live in the city that can be more affordable than living on-campus. Advertisements from students looking to move off-campus are posted in the elevators seeking roommates to keep costs low. There is even a Facebook page to help find people to live with too.

Off-Campus Dining: Chick-fil-a has been one of the biggest draws to the students here since they discount and give away free food sometimes. Many affordable and delicious options are within walking distance and are available late at night when the college dining is unavailable.

Administration: This campus is very safe because of strict policies against drinking and violence. We have many security officers, students and professionals, who work to make this campus safe and secure in the middle of a dangerous city. The policies that are enforced here are for the good of the students and, while some may complain they may be too strict, really aren't as legalistic as they seem initially.

Scholarships: The people in financial aid here are very understanding if one cannot always pay their bill on time. They urge students to do all within their power to work and earn the money to put themselves through school and apply for scholarships. However, when all other resources have been used, they will work with students to manage payments until they can get back on their feet. I would recommend asking if there is any money that was set aside for students who couldn't make it that might be available to help with school costs.

Party Scene: Every college has a different definition of partying. At MBI, we have a lot of fun together and really know how to include everyone. We go to sports events together and have movie nights or cooking nights. We watch the Superbowl together and eat lots of great food. There is never any alcohol or drug use involved because we choose to honor God by taking care of the bodies He's given us. We don't need those things to have a good time. There are plenty of events and locations in the city to go to and enjoy together. We also have an improv comedy group that performs on weekends and they draw huge crowds with their amazing talent. The students here put together dramas and plays that catch the school's spirit.

Campus Food: Since coming here, I've always enjoyed eating in the Student Dining Room. It offers a wide range of options, including a Gluten Free corner and Vegetarian section. I especially love the opportunity to hang out with everyone or even hop tables and meet new people.

No college is perfect, and we do get served chicken a lot, but if that's the only complaint people have, there's really nothing to fuss about. The food is always fresh and delicious and prepared and served with love by a wonderful kitchen staff.

Campus Housing: To live on the Moody Bible Institute campus is to live with family. Everyday I see my Sisters in Christ around me doing life in the dorms, rushing to classes, encouraging each other when things get tough, and rejoicing with one another when something amazing happens.

I'm very blessed to have access to a central lounge where I can comfortably do homework and socialize with my dormmates, as well as be able to cook in the kitchen we have.

The teachers are amazing and really care about the students. The classrooms we learn in are well-equipped with technology that helps get the lessons across effectively.

The location of Moody is right in the heart of the business district of Chicago. There's a Walmart, Walgreens, Trader Joe's and an Immediate Care facility all within walking distance, making it easier to live here, especially if one comes from far away and can't go home on breaks.

I've appreciated the cost of living here the most. Donors pay tuition for the students so the only responsibilities are room and board. It is much cheaper than many other Christian colleges, but not at the sacrifice of a solid Biblical education.

Athletics: The athletics are amazing during the spring and summers.

Greek Life: There is not Greek society at Moody to my knowledge, but there are other cultural groups.

Health & Safety: Moody is very high on safety, and take sexual assault seriously and raise awareness among students.

5 College Freshman

Majors: Moody has many majors, from pastoral studies to more secular ones. All of them taught by great profressors.

5 College Freshman

Administration: Moody follows rules in accordance to the Bible and Biblical standards, and helps individuals to lead a strong Christian life.

Party Scene: This is a great college to study, and grow in your faith while finding your Biblical calling. Partying is not the scene here.

Scholarships: It was great. Staff at Moody is very friendly and cooperative.

College Freshman

Scholarships: It is my several attempts and I am waiting for other results. This is my first time applying financial aid in my life. This is because my parents paid all for my education but they could not afford it now so I am trying to cover it myself.

I thought it would be easy to get financial aid but I feel now.. It is hard to get it. Also, I understand a lot of students need financial aids. This is not easy at all, but I hope college students have good financial aids to get their degrees and to be a good person and individuals for this society and the world.

Local Area: There is no place to hang out friends. This is uncomfortable because we do not have coffee shop near to my house. And it is little scary to be out at night. But still I quite like it.

Campus Housing: Moody housing is going good. Each house have residence assistance and they contact with school and have periodic meeting for housing but I feel like this does not work well. I do not satisfied with their works. I think school can train them better and should be well trained because they earn money being as an RA.

4 College Freshman

Off-Campus Housing: We do not have dormitory so I agree to live in off campus. We all live off campus. Some people live with their families but most of students live in Moody house or have own apartment which is quite cheap and safe to live.

5 College Freshman

Guys & Girls: I am in Christian School, thus our dress is very conservative. As I said before, I live in Moody house and we are linked in Brother and Sister house so we often meet each other at house. But we have strict co-ed hours and strict rules such as guys cannot come into the house if there is only one girl in the house, guys cannot enter to girls' rooms, there should be no actions which can make others uncomfortable.

4 College Freshman

Administration: I do not live in dorm. I live in Moody House. This house is owned by school and I pay $285 for month and I live with seven other girls in one house. I love to live in this house because it helps me to involve at school. Also, it is one society and it encourages me to get along with a lot of students, thus I think this is a great idea!

Athletics: My school does not have active athletics. I am a freshman and 2015 is my second semester but I have never heard about my school's athletics. I hope this improve in our school.

College Freshman

Greek Life: In our campus, we do not have students from Greek, thus I have not experience Greek students before.

Also, I am not well familiar about Greek life.

4 College Freshman

Majors: I had not have an official internship before but I am teaching Korean to my friends. I think this might be my internship because my major is TESOL and I need to have internship in my Junior or Senior year.

I hope to find one and actually I am going to take part in Good Will organization to teach the Bible to children. I think this might be one of my practical assistance of my internship in the future because I want to teach children after I graduate from Moody Bible Institute.

4 College Freshman

Off-Campus Dining: There are a good amount of restaurants and fast food places to eat near campus.
