2 College Freshman

Weather: Pretty frequent thunderstorms in the fall are kind if cool, but winter comes early and there's usually a negative streak in November or December with little to no snow.

2 College Freshman

Weather: Butte is one of the sunniest cities in the country... but sunny doesn't always mean warm. In the winters prepare for weeks of straight -40 degree(F) days and plenty of snow.

3 College Sophomore

Weather: its really cold in the winter and it snows and we live on a mountain

3 College Sophomore

Weather: It's Montana. It is a given that is going to snow a lot here. The city does a pretty good job at sanding the streets so it's not that bad to get to school. The town is made up of hills though so make sure your car can handle it. The campus does a good job too. The tiered parking lot is an accident waiting to happen though. I park in the library parking lot and it is probably the safest route.

3 College Student

Weather: The winter can be harder. Montana Tech is located on a hill and that makes it harder to get to on snow and icy days.
