3 College Freshman

Overall Experience: They're fun to be with and make learning fun

4 College Junior

Overall Experience: The education department has made me feel welcome from day 1, and the instructors are great.

4 College Junior

Overall Experience: Northern does a great job bringing prospective employers to the students, and try really hard to get their students prepared for on site, and hands on experience with the desired field anyone is going into.

3 College Junior

Health & Safety: I have never heard of anything really happening on the campus.

5 College Junior

Overall Experience: The instructors really care if I am learning the material, and have gone above and beyond for me as a student.

3 College Junior

Athletics: I enjoy watching the sports teams play.

5 College Freshman

Health & Safety: The staff is concerned about student safety. There was an entire day during orientation devoted to our safety.

5 College Freshman

Overall Experience: The classes are awesome. Most have a relatively small student to teacher ratio, so getting personal one-on-one time with a teacher is easy.

5 College Freshman

Overall Experience: The diesel and nursing programs have easy access to projects pertaining to their major.

5 College Freshman

Campus Housing: I love my dorm! It's spacious and both me and my room mate have enough room for our stuff. The bathroom is dirty, but hey it's a communal bathroom.

1 College Freshman

Greek Life: MSU-Northern doesn't have any Greek life.

3 College Freshman

Athletics: The athletes and coaches are extremely nice. The basketball teams and wrestling team are amazing, but the football team is sub-par. The school spirit is mediocre, nothing crazy.

4 College Freshman

Overall Experience: As I'm only a freshman, my experience at MSU-Northern has been better than expected. The staff are friendly and willing to help with any problem you have. There are also a large variety of clubs, activities, and sports events for students to attend, which is where I've met most of my friends.

5 College Freshman

Overall Experience: College is going great so far! I love how all the professors know each and every person that walks into his or her class. MSU-N is a really great, friendly school that I would recommend to any of my friends! Great people, great location! All in all I love my choice I made in college and I plan on spending these 4 years happy!

4 College Sophomore

Overall Experience: faculty and staff are great along with the courses

Off-Campus Housing: There is not much available for college students. you almost have to know someone to get a decent place to live. cost is ridiculously high and its impossible to meet rent and go to school full time. there are no housing options that are decent anywhere close to Northern.

Off-Campus Dining: There arent any dining options near the school, most you need a car to get to, and the lines are usually too long and you dont tend to get your lunch in time and it makes you late for class. pricing is not that great and quality is awful. its best to eat at home, in the dorm, or try to catch the cafeteria hours.

Scholarships: the financial aid office clearly showed me everything i needed to get done and helped me get there. it was an incredibly easy process.

Off-Campus Housing: Small town you get what you get
