I just finished my pre-requisites and have been accepted to the nursing program. It was a very long and frustrating, yet rewarding journey. There is a waiting list for the nursing program so I did have to wait an entire semester and summer break to finally get in but the way I felt, the accomplishment that I encountered made everything worth it. I am currently attending all my orientations and while it is time consuming, I love learning about the hospital I will be attending clinicals and what I will be doing for the next two years, it is amazing and oh so rewarding. There is going to be a huge amount of work to be done which is perfectly ok since I am in the business of saving lives, I need to know how to do it right. The facilities are great! We have everything that we need to learn what we should know and we have plenty of resources to help us through the process. We even have the option to buy used scrubs for a very low price.

My favorite thing about Mohave Community College is it is well within reasonable tuition rates, and he teachers and staff are always there to help you out. Also, tutoring is free and can really be a useful tool to have access too as a student. They also make sure that in this small town there are social events within the college with free food and movie and activity participate in events with the community.

At Mohave Community College there is a selection of teachers with unique learning styles that will fit you specificity. My favorite teacher was my Bio 100. The workload was intense, though after her class I really understood Biology more then I ever had before. Talk to the advisor and they will set you up with the best teachers for your learning experience.
