Student Body

3 College Senior

Student Body: I've had very good experiences and bad. After two years I am glad to get out. When my friends went to four year colleges and were making friends, at MiraCosta I thought I would have the same experience, but I was wrong. People really shuffle to and from class fast, they keep their head down, and really don't want to stay on campus. But I was lucky, and sat next to some of my best friends second semester of my first year. In Costa you will take a class, make friends with the people around you, maybe study together if its a difficult subject, but in the end you will usually part ways after the final. I've also seen the most hard-working "I need to be a Doctor, get straight A's" oriented people, but also A LOT of drop outs, "I'll wait another year" kind of kids. DON'T LET THEM GET YOU DOWN. Keep moving forward, don't drop out, but transfer out to bigger places!

Student Body: If there was one person I could describe to represent my student body it would be that one person in your class that sometimes forgets there was homework, skips a few classes in the month, passes with a B- in the class, but loves to help out and has a good heart overall. Yes the students here are not very academically gifted, but they are very accepting, very diverse in all aspects of the word, and accept others who are "different".

Student Body: Everyone at Miracosta is friendly and helpful. Whenever you reach out to someone they are willing to help or even become your friends. Everyone is very accepting and diverse. I feel like Miracosta is judge-free. Everyone is much more busy on their academics, much more independent, and the high level of motivation is like a domino effect. Everyone is there for each other kind of environment.

Student Body: I would say that the population of the students is very diversities. I see many foreign students on campus. I've seen a Christian club meeting outside of the library.

Student Body: It is pretty neutral to me. There is a diversity of students though. I have made a Chinese friend, a Salvadoran, Korean and others. I enjoy meeting people from different cultures and this school has a great diversity of students!
