3 College Sophomore

Academic Flexibility: Mira Costa has 3 campuses, one of which is located very far from where I live. A lot of the classes that I sometimes need are either only offered at that campus or is offered on my campus, but occurs at a time that is inconvenient for me and my schedule. There is a wide range of classes, but the times that they are offered can get tricky. I have a general frustration with all colleges when it comes to transferring credits. Some colleges take some but not others, some take all or some will take none. It depends on the school. Miracosta is good about taking credits generally, but when it comes time to transfer to a four year, you have to know what school you want to go to so you take courses that will transfer to your desired school. It is not the fault of Mira Costa, but all 4 year institutions that have very specific requirements, all of which being different from the next.

4 College Junior

Academic Flexibility: There are many classes that are offered. There is a transfer center that helps students transfer to their universities.
