Campus Housing: Not the best dorms ever, they are outdated and need to be revamped.

Greek Life: There is great Greek life for a small engineering school.

Athletics: As a member of a Varsity sport, MSOE does respect our work but it is still important that school comes first and I love that.

4 College Sophomore

Overall Experience: MSOE is difficult but proves to be worth while as it is easy to get a great job after graduation.

3 College Sophomore

Academics: Registration isnt the best but the office in charge of that will work with students for optimum schedule

4 College Sophomore

Diversity: The school has a wealth of people from all parts of the world with organizations advocating for them

3 College Sophomore

Drug Safety: Theres always drug access on a college campus but it is somewhat regulated here

3 College Sophomore

Health & Safety: Constant security patrol, rfid entrance into all buildings and a decent security network make the campus pretty safe

3 College Sophomore

Overall Experience: Professor bend over backwards as they dont want to fail people. This school isnt for everyone.

4 College Sophomore

Overall Experience: There are multiple career fairs, internship postings and the online system "handshake"

3 College Sophomore

Campus Housing: The dorms were adequate for a first year student but i moved out into the apartment style housing.

3 College Sophomore

Greek Life: It wasn't for me but i am friends with most of the greek members, they do good thibgs on campus

3 College Sophomore

Athletics: We have many teams and clubs. Some get funding, some have to fund themselves, it is all a matter of use

3 College Sophomore

Overall Experience: Its a great place if you're cut out for it. Falling behind can be a slippery slope its all about time management

3 College Sophomore

Campus Housing: The (2, technically 3) dorm buildings are quite small and older, but of (generally) typical size and quality. The structure of the housing system, including RAs, is pretty nice. If you intend to stay on campus as an upperclassmen, the Tower Apartments are a much better option - for a little more in price they offer a large jump in quality and space.

3 College Sophomore

Overall Experience: The class sizes are small (20-30 students), and the professors have a wealth of knowledge, often including industry experience. The school has abundant connections with local companies, and finding a job is so easy it's almost a guarantee. Internships aren't difficult to find either. A lot of people here are very socially awkward, but it actually levels the playing field really well. While there are still a few Gen Eds, you break into major-specific courses right away. As for a few disadvantages, the administration seems to only be concerned with money, and the school creates extra difficulty where it doesn't need to. For an engineering school, the tech could be more up to date. All in all, there are positives and negatives.

5 College Junior

Health & Safety: Sexual assault doesn't really happen when everyone's too busy for sex.

4 College Junior

Overall Experience: Professors were hit or miss, and course variety is pretty low. The nice thing is classes are small and professors have time for 1 on 1 questions in office hours, which is really helpful.

5 College Junior

Overall Experience: The school really focus on getting students jobs/internships, and it's clear it's a priority for them.

1 College Junior

Campus Housing: Awful, ancient buildings. The dorms are terrible with almost no places for socializing.

5 College Junior

Greek Life: Not in Greek life, but friends like it.

4 College Junior

Athletics: Kern Center is great for athletes and good for non-athletes.
