Greek Life: if you are not in greek life, then plan on having nothing to do

Athletics: School spirit is HUGE at our school, mostly because there is nothing else to do in town. But everyone attends games from every sport. Only places the average student can use are the gym and the new playing field they built.

Health & Safety: As far as safety is concerned everyone knows everyone so it's as safe as safe can get plus campus police are always monitoring the campus ??. Health wise we have a doctor facility on campus which is kind of hard to get to because they're only open certain days and you have to make an appointment.

Campus Housing: My freshman year was awesome and it was easy to make new friends and the hall director was really friendly and awesome! (Norma I love you lol). Then my sophomore year I moved into the apartments since we had to and I noticed that the hall director wouldn't enforce the rules on everyone for example, if he knew you and he liked you then he'd just give you a warning. Also he'd take the side of whoever came to him first I know plenty of people who've been accused and had to prove themselves innocent with the action of a legal system which is ridiculous. All in all Claudio is the worst part of living in the apartments but the apartments are beautiful and the maintenance men are always friendly and get their job done.

Greek Life: I really don't care for the Greek life because unless you fit a certain criteria/personality type nobody's going to want you.

4 College Junior

Overall Experience: Besides the classes being an equal amount of both challenging and time taking, I'd say it's not all that bad. The professor's make sure that you know what you're talking about and if you have no clue they work with you and help you out. Everybody down to the janitorial staff is friendly and very helpful especially if you get lost (lol) although you hear horror stories about attacks and robberies at other schools, you definitely don't have to worry about it at this school.

4 College Junior

Overall Experience: Some professors are very passionate by what they teach and you can tell when they are. They try to help as much as possible whether it be with school or anything else. The school size is really nice, its better than my last college, and everything is within walking distance. Courses are great, i'm psychology path so for me i love it. Class size is small which is great because everybody Knows each other.

4 College Junior

Overall Experience: They offer many careers on campus. I dont work on campus but when I talk to people bout it they say they enjoy it.

4 College Junior

Health & Safety: Safety on campus is great. I usually feel safe being alone in places you would think wouldnt be okay.

4 College Junior

Campus Housing: Again its expensive but worth it . You get to know alot of people and do tings after classes in which if you lived off campus you may not get to do.

4 College Junior

Greek Life: They do lot on campus. i'm not in a greek sorority but usually the greeks stick together. they have fun things such as stepshows that people can come to watch.

3 College Junior

Athletics: I'm not really much into athletics but the intramurals sports for non-athletic students are great. Football is a big thing of curse but unfortunately i haven't attended a game besides the opening season game.

4 College Junior

Overall Experience: So far I enjoy the school. the professors try to help as much as possible and there is even tutoring provided on campus. Living on campus is expensive but it can be fun and rewarding. A new dorm and parking lot was built so I'm sure tuition will go up but not too much where its not affordable as in previous years.

4 College Sophomore

Overall Experience: MSU has a good selection of courses considering its size. I did not like a few of the professors' approaches to some topics, but it is nothing that outraged me (most of the time).

4 College Sophomore

Overall Experience: I've heard professors list many companies that look to MSU for employees, and say that an MSU degree has some prestige.

4 College Sophomore

Health & Safety: There were a few thefts in the freshman dorm and off campus apartments, but I feel safe walking around at night.

3 College Sophomore

Campus Housing: I've only lived in the freshman dorms so far, so that is what I know about. The rooms were small (as expected) and some of the communal bathrooms had cleanliness problems. Turnout for dorm hall activities was fairly low.

4 College Sophomore

Athletics: Our football team regularly makes playoffs, and the student Wellness Center is great compared to some local gyms.

4 College Sophomore

Overall Experience: I like the opportunities available, including recreation and courses.

3 College Senior

Greek Life: Not too familiar with the Greek life, although they do many things for the community.

Athletics: There is pretty good school spirit at Midwestern.

4 College Senior

Overall Experience: I really enjoy taking classes here. The professors make it interesting and it has an overall great atmosphere.

3 College Sophomore

Drug Safety: I know a lot of people that don't drink and still have a great time going out and there's not a lot of peer pressure. The only thing that bothers me is that we're supposed to be a tobacco free campus but a lot of people still smoke cigarettes on campus and I think that should be enforced more.
