Academic Flexibility: I didn't have to transfer credits so can't really comment on that. The flexibility of the classes is what makes a school like MTI convenient for students with a busy schedule.

Online Courses: The only real difference from online courses and traditional classroom is that with online courses you got to make more of an effort to study and understand what you're trying to learn. No one is there to show you .

Career Services: Post-grad services have been good. I've been emailing my instructor on some career openings. He also advise me to apply at a company which I did.

Overall Experience: I really liked my instructor. He was always willing to help and make sure you understood what was going on. He allowed a relax atmosphere which would put everyone at ease and eager to learn. The class sizes are typically small for HVAC but the other courses have alot more students. MTI offers other courses like Cosmo, Medical Assistant, Welding, and Truck Driving.

Overall Experience: Having my EPA license is awesome. Im able to work in a field that is expansive. There are some many employers that want MTI graduates to work for them. The student services and the instructors give you leads on job opportunities.

Academic Experience: I joined the HVAC-R program because of rising demand for technicians in the field. The program was divided into four modules each 9 weeks long. The workload was mainly from our handbook. We would go over a chapter and then work hands-on the equipment. The facility was very clean and welcoming. And they help with job placement also.

Overall Experience: Midwest Technical Institute is an outstanding school that cares about their students success. The instructor has a great knowledge of information that provides future technicians a real life feel for the HVAC industry. A lot of hands-on training also. It has a student friendly environment with plenty of activities to participate in. I would definitely go to MTI again if I could.
