Off-Campus Dining: The gas station is your option here.

Academics: This school is horrible. I have a degree from the University of Kentucky so I can only compare it to that school. The instructors are very unprofessional. The instructors in the department have not communicated with one another at all and each professor is teaching different principles. For example, I purchased a suggested text but when I used those principles another instructor did not like the answer and did not accept it! The suggested text was then a waste of money! I found my instructors to be highly unprofessional, speaking on politics, and OTHER STUDENTS GRADES in class. They do not follow the syllabus although you are bound by it! The syllabus says late work is accepted for reduced credit but they refuse to accept it! How funny! I will not be returning to Midway. Also, if you get a bad grade, they force you to meet with your instructor to talk about it -- as thought they are paying the student to attend. The problem is that I was in a evening program and I had to meet during the day! What a crock! By forcing students to meet a professor, they are burdening the student with the retention initiatives. Everything is so unorganized too. They give out about 100 LOOSE pages of syllabus plus a student handbook and continue to burden the student with paper all semester. They could improve this by sending out soft copies or otherwise using the internet to make the process more efficient. Also, they give you paper at the beginning of the semester and give you another copy when the task comes up so you have even more paper. They will force you to print homework AND email it which is ridiculously inefficient. If you email one instructor in the department, they copy several other instructors in the department so everyone knows your business. And on top of all that, it is a very expensive program. BEWARE. Go somewhere else. By the way, I have a BS from the University of Kentucky.

Local Area: The town of Midway is adorable and we're in close proximity to numerous other cities and towns.

3 College Sophomore

Campus Quality: Campus is gorgeous and, aside from the dorms, the buildings are very nice. Our dining hall just got redone and it is now very nice.

4 College Sophomore

Off-Campus Dining: Downtown Midway has a lot of great options for dining. Midway is also very close to Versailles, Georgetown, Frankfort, and Lexington if you are looking for cheaper or more late night type options.

3 College Sophomore

Diversity: The school is very diverse. We currently have many Panamanian students living on campus. Everyone is very accepting of different students and it's very eye opening for someone who does not come from a diverse background.

1 College Sophomore

Greek Life: We don't have greek life.

3 College Sophomore

Guys & Girls: It's an all girls school, so there's that. The girls get kind of catty sometimes but overall, everyone gets along really well. Everyone is very friendly.

2 College Sophomore

Majors: Most of the departments had a lot of cut backs. There are few good teachers and the programs are collapsing.

4 College Sophomore

Scholarships: Most students recieved financial aid. They are not great at their jobs, but they get it done.

3 College Sophomore

Campus Housing: The buildings are old, the walls sweat, the bathrooms are dirty. That's typical dorm living though. Compared to other places, it isn't bad.

2 College Sophomore

Campus Food: There are limited food options and what they have is typically very poor quality.

Local Area: It's a charming town surrounded my major cities

Scholarships: The financial aid dept is amazing. They make it easy and they get you just the amount of aid you need.

Recent Alumnus

Greek Life: I can't really say that this is bad or good since I am typically an off campus student

3 Recent Alumnus

Off-Campus Dining: They have some great small restaurants but no fast good.

5 Recent Alumnus

Majors: If you are a good student, you can get into the program. They have requirements like all programs and it requires work but it's worth it.

5 Recent Alumnus

Majors: It's a great school. It's smaller and everyone wants students to succeed.

2 College Junior

Campus Quality: The gym areas (weight room and cardio room) are very small and don't have a lot of variety.

3 College Junior

Local Area: Midway is a very small town compared to where I lived previously.

College Junior

Academics: I haven't started classes here yet.

4 College Junior

Academics: The teachers are very helpful and try to know each and every student.

College Junior

Greek Life: There is no greek life at Midway
