Overall Experience: Medium size school, with a lot of students. Mesa Community college is probably the most diverse in the area.

Overall Experience: The people at this school do look out for you, and the community is small and intimate. However, there is more to be desired for student activities and student life, but those are things that aren't really expected out of a community college.

Overall Experience: I attended this college 2 years ago and I dropped off. The reason behind that was the Finical aid office. They did not explain clearly enough for me the steps that I should have taken to get my aid.

Tuition & Financial Aid: Since it is a community college, it is definately worth the low tuition costs to cover the general studies. There are many means to obtain financial aid at this school.

Campus Resources: The student center is informative and courteous.

Academic Flexibility: I had absolutely no problems transferring credits from one community college to another. Most of my classes had many different start times, so flexibility was great. The only problems I'm having with flexibility is my job cooperating with my school schedule. I've worked at Wal-Mart for over four years and my old manager was willing to work with my class schedule. About 2 weeks ago, we got a new manager who is unwilling to work around my school schedule which has created a great amount of stress for me.

Tuition & Financial Aid: Compared to other colleges in Mesa, Arizona (and trust me, I did my homework before enrolling in this college) this school provides the best education for the cost of the tuition. There were other colleges I could have enrolled in that would have offered me as good of an education as this school but I would have ended up paying $50,000 instead of the $20,000 that I'll be paying through Mesa Community College. The financial aid department at my school unfortunately does not assist students to the fullest, when it comes to applying for scholarships and grants. They leave that up to the students to apply for. The financial aid department will assist students with loans, which if it comes down to it, I may have to apply for, if my fafsa and grants/scholarships won't fully cover my tuition.

Overall Experience: I really like the variety of classes this school offers and the convenience of class styles and class times. Anyone can attend this school, as long as you can find a way to fund it. I am paying for my own education, with no help from family or friends, and if I can do it, anyone can do it. I'll admit, it's hard having to work part-time and attend school full-time but I love it and wouldn't change anything. I'm hoping I can receive enough scholarship aid along with grants, to help take the strain of financial burden off my shoulders while enrolled in my 2 year degree program.

Overall Experience: The class sizes are kept to 20 students, which I think is perfect, not too big- not too small. The quality of the courses are great, and they will teach me everything I need to know about being a dental hygienist. The classes are mixed between lectures which are done in classrooms and the labs which are done in a clinic. I think the balance between lectures and labs and the variety of class styles, keeps students interested in learning and the change keeps things interesting.

Overall Experience: This is the only thing that my school lacks is aiding students in after-graduation job prospects. If there is a career center, I'm unaware of it, but the student services center is there to assist students in enrolling and beginning school, but after they graduate, it almost seems as if students are on their own. Most schools in Arizona are like that though, unless you shell out a ton of money and go to a private institution.

Online Courses: I've never had a problem with online courses. I actually completed the majority of my prerequisite courses to the program through online classes. I chose online classes because I didn't feel it was necessary to be in an in-person learning environment and that I would receive the same quality of education over the internet, which I was right. I also saved a lot of money on gas because I didn't have to drive to and from the campus for classes. Overall, I would recommend online classes to anyone.

Student Body: There is a decent amount of diversity at this campus. This campus is predominantly Caucasian, but diversity is welcomed. I've never witnessed bullying or ethnic intolerance on this campus, which if I did, I would speak up and say something. There doesn't seem to be cliques that separate rich students from poor students, or religious groups. I attend school with a lot of smart young adults who are open and friendly with every student and faculty member, regardless of race, gender, or religion.
