Certain Areas Excel, but Others in Need of Work.. Overall, they are beginning to upgrade certain areas of the campus, like the library. Unfortunately, in the interim, it leaves a less than desireable amount of space and organization. The student center has recently been redone, and looks great! It also serves as a nice study area, although it can be a bit noisy. One area that definitely needs improvement are the scince labs and the amount of resources they have. Science is definitely a hands on learning experience and a lot of the lab practicals are limited, due to lack of resources.

The counselors are wonderful, they sit down and let you know the best options for you as a student. The counselors set up an individual education plan and make sure you stay on top of your classes, they treat like you are part of a family. All the teachers I have had really care and want you to succeed both in class and outside of class. It has been a wonderful ride so far and will continue on my path to success. God Bless Merritt College!

Get Informed! At first, it was bad for me because I didn't know much about Financial Aid. The financial aid office is all right. I constantly visited because I was unaware and uninformed of several things. To get financial aid, you practically have to be dirt poor and full time student. That is your best bet of getting financial aid. It's okay. I've gotten financial aid but just the requirements are horrible.
