2 College Junior

Greek Life: Not sure there is one

4 College Junior

Health & Safety: Campus Security is great but give an excessive amount of tickets for minor things.

4 College Junior

Overall Experience: Class Sizes are small. you make friends quicker. everyone is open minded. professors for the most part are nice.

4 College Junior

Campus Housing: Always clean and the RAs are always there to help and the RDs too

3 College Junior

Athletics: The students are not aware that there are games scheduled.

4 College Junior

Overall Experience: Meredith is one of the safest places and very welcoming places in Raleigh. It forms its own little bubble of welcoming energy.

4 College Sophomore

Health & Safety: Public Safety is always strolling around on campus, but they give out way too many tickets for the amount of parking on our campus.

3 College Sophomore

Overall Experience: Class sizes are small and the professors get to know everyone's names, but you really have to put in effort for their help

3 College Sophomore

Overall Experience: Our career center does not help us, and Shenandoah is not a big school so the networking isn't there as much

3 College Sophomore

Campus Housing: Typical student dorms. The residential services are a pain to deal with.

2 College Sophomore

Athletics: Our school is so small, athletics are not a huge involvement, which stinks. Our facilities are not great whatsoever, and fan support is only there for a few teams.

3 College Sophomore

Overall Experience: I loved the small school atmosphere, but there are not enough events and things for students to do for the amount of money we pay. The small classes are really nice, and it's nice having the professors get to know you. I also enjoyed being able to continue being an athlete, and playing a sport. I enjoy the discipline and not having a ton of extra time.

5 College Freshman

Health & Safety: The campus is extremely safe. There are only two entrances and after 11 pm one of them closes. Once that entrance is closed, ID has to be shown to get in the other one. Men that try to enter after 11pm have to leave their ID at the entrance and they can get it back on their way out. It is also an all girls school, so there is less paranoia about sexual assault on campus.

4 College Freshman

Overall Experience: Most of the professors are very nice and easy to talk to. If you're struggling, you can usually talk to them and they will try to help you. The class sizes are very small so the professors know each student by name. There is a pretty good variety of courses offered, however, there is a very limited number of seats available, and times available.

3 College Freshman

Overall Experience: I don't think any college student feels good about their chances of getting a job or internship after graduation. I've heard that Meredith students usually do well after graduation. Meredith also has partnerships with some places, so they offer Meredith graduates internships or give them automatic interviews. Meredith also has a good number of networking events, which helps with your chances of finding work or internships after graduating.

3 College Freshman

Campus Housing: The dorms are okay. Some better than others. They need some updating and new furniture in the lounges. It would also be nice if microwaves were allowed. The dorms are close to all the classes, which is really great.

2 College Freshman

Athletics: There aren't many sports. I wish there were more club sports, for example, powderpuff football. Meredith is a women's college so there is not a football team, but a lot of girls at Meredith would love to have a flag football team. Maybe just freshman vs sophmores, juniors vs seniors, and then the winners face off. Make it a once a year thing like Corn.

4 College Freshman

Overall Experience: I love Meredith. I love the people and the small community. I don't love the price and I'm not sure if its the best school for what I want to do. I don't want to leave Meredith, but I might have to. I don't know if the education is worth the price.

4 College Freshman

Health & Safety: Meredith college has great security that do a excellent job at making sure that the campus is secure.

4 College Freshman

Campus Housing: My current dorm is situated close to most of my classes, which is very nice. The community with in the dorms is also really great; however, there are occasions where the rules about keeping quiet hours quiet could be emphasized more.

4 College Freshman

Greek Life: Greek life at Meredith College is small and very low key. Most of the Sororities are geared toward community service and specifically set up for a small community of people who a majoring in the same subjects.

4 College Freshman

Overall Experience: The classes at Meredith are very interesting and informative. The teachers are very helpful and willing to work with you if you don't understand the subject matter.

3 College Freshman

Overall Experience: The Meredith College community is very small so it is easy to connect with students as well as teachers. This private college makes it easier to focus and communicate one on one with teachers.
