Off-Campus Housing: I had trouble looking for an apartment this year we found one really nice one for good price after a good amount of searching. So I say if you really want something cheap and convenient distance-wise I say start searching early and don't settle

3 College Freshman

Administration: Nothing really good or bad I can say about it. It is what it is

4 College Freshman

Scholarships: I have to thank the Dean of the Business School, Ed Weis for this, Mercy gave me an academic scholarship as well. They usually accommodate your financial needs but YOU NEED TO ASK. Also the workers in the Student Services/Financial Aid department are very difficult to deal with so you must bare with them.

Party Scene: Honestly you,ll think it's really fun at first but once you realize the same people come to the same parties to do the same things it gets dull really quick. Also it is freezing cold after winter break so good luck finding a decent party from Feb-Mar

Off-Campus Dining: If you have the money sure go crazy but eating out can run you for a lot of money

2 College Freshman

Campus Food: There needs to be more healthy options

Campus Housing: Mercy has it's many ups and downs but the only/main reason I came to Mercy was because of they're location and their amazing Business Honors Program. I feel like the courses and the activities we do within the Business Honors Program are different from any other Post Secondary Business Education and it's fun! Unfortunately, I can not say that for the Gen Ed courses and the other aspects of the school. Everything else at Mercy, Food, Dorming, the environment you name it is just plain mediocre. I heard the Music Program at Mercy is pretty cool too but I don't know enough about it to speak on it.

Health & Safety: There are no crimes on campus. The campus is safe

3 College Freshman

Athletics: There are a lot of sports programs

2 College Freshman

Off-Campus Housing: Off campus housing is expensive

3 College Freshman

Off-Campus Dining: The Manhattan Campus is surrounded by a lot of fast food restaurants such as Wendy's, Mcdonald's, Food venders, and Pizza stores. The food is cheap.

4 College Freshman

Administration: Mercy College is really strict about its honor code and academic honesty which is great. The professors are strict about attendence as well. If a student miss three or more days of class the professor can fail them.

4 College Freshman

Scholarships: My financial aid process went well

4 College Freshman

Administration: again if international students can get more help

2 College Freshman

Scholarships: i wish they can offer scholarships for undergraduate international students

College Freshman

Campus Food: i do not live on campus

College Freshman

Campus Housing: i dont live on campus

2 College Freshman

Party Scene: We honestly do not have many parties, if you're looking for a party school, mercy is not the place to be.

3 College Freshman

Scholarships: I got a scholarship for my high school grades and was very pleased.

Campus Food: There are not many options so the food tends to get repetitive. The cafe itself is very small.

Campus Housing: I personally do not live on the on-campus dorms, I live in the dorm hotels they have for the overflow of students. I really liked that they had this option, but transportation can be annoying at times. I have visited the dorms and do not like how small the rooms are and the bathrooms are always dirty, which can be pretty gross at times. At first at the hotels, the RA's were pretty strict and we were't really allowed to keep our doors open so there wasn't much of a social environment, but they have become more relaxed on it and things have become better. Applying for housing was the WORST! It took forever for everything to process and for them to tell me who my roommate was. I didn't find out until the Saturday before I moved in (which was on a Tuesday) who my roommate was. And my roommate was told that she had a different roommate than myself. Overall they were just very unorganized with the whole situation.

Off-Campus Dining: There are restaurants all over in the city.

Scholarships: I receive scholarships and grants. I still have loans but it is not as bad as if I went to another private school.
