3 College Freshman

Off-Campus Housing: It's expensive and you probably would want a roommate

3 College Freshman

Off-Campus Dining: Great diner around here, nice Chinese as well

3 College Freshman

Administration: Party at your own risk

4 College Freshman

Scholarships: Paid for most of my school but I needed a 15,000 dollar loan

2 College Freshman

Party Scene: No really parties, dry campus. Only partying if you know older people, but RA's are always there

3 College Freshman

Campus Food: Sometimes it's good, other times it makes you sick

4 College Freshman

Campus Housing: It's great, just forming isn't that great. Love the small classes

4 College Freshman

Overall Experience: I have no complaints and it is my opinion.

4 College Freshman

Overall Experience: The school helps students maintain a career with services and employers whom visit time to time.

4 College Freshman

Health & Safety: I commute to the College but the Dobbs Ferry Campus is pretty safe.

4 College Freshman

Athletics: I truly love volleyball so that is all I have to say.

3 College Freshman

Off-Campus Housing: I commute to the school so there is not much I could say but they need to have another shuttle bus asap! One is not enough!

3 College Freshman

Off-Campus Dining: There are some nice dining options and it there are still some new dining openings. We recently have a apple bee's spot open .

4 College Freshman

Administration: There are no crazy strictness but the professors are cool.

4 College Freshman

Scholarships: I do not have any problems because I make sure to contact the school with my financial aid. I would advise people to talk directly face to face because it's easier and this is college no one is going to do this for you. I mean that you have to make sure that everything is on track and you will be fine. I have been contacting the school before the school year began and I have no problems.

College Freshman

Party Scene: I have not been to the Dobbs Ferry Campus party but I suppose it is cool because you are experiencing the College life.

3 College Freshman

Campus Food: The food is pretty decent it can swallow your money pretty fast but it is not to expensive.

3 College Freshman

Campus Housing: I commute to the Bronx Campus but the Dobbs Ferry Camous is pretty nice!

2 College Sophomore

Off-Campus Housing: Any apartments near by are for rent through landlords, not the school. They are very picky about renting to college students and it is difficult to see an apartment if you're interested.

3 College Sophomore

Off-Campus Dining: There are a bunch of diners around and they're all a very reasonable cost. If you're willing to drive about 20 mins from campus, there are some chain restaurants that are pretty convenient and a reasonable cost. There are absolutely no student discounts, which is pretty awful.

3 College Sophomore

Administration: I've heard of people getting fined for having alcohol in their dorms, but people come to class smelling like weed all the time. The hallways smell of weed pretty often, too. However, I'd have to make multiple noise complaints because people don't realize that 2am is not the best time to blast their music, and it is very rare that something is actually done about it.

3 College Sophomore

Scholarships: It took a long time to figure out what financial aid I was getting and when it would be dispersed. Once it was figured out, though, it went smoothly.

College Sophomore

Party Scene: I don't think I have ever heard of a party going on anywhere. The baseball team was busted for alcohol in their dorm once last semester and they were all greatly penalized. I don't have an interest in going to parties, anyway, so I don't look for them, but I really can't recall ever hearing people talk about parties.

3 College Sophomore

Campus Food: The salad station is usually really great but it can become very boring very quickly. Home zone will have decent food every once and a while, but it's usually something that doesn't look too trustworthy. The grill section is pretty reliable for hot sandwiches, chicken fingers, burgers, pizza, etc. My meal plan is only dining dollars so that gives me a lot of freedom as to what I decide to buy.

3 College Sophomore

Campus Housing: Mercy doesn't have enough room on campus to house all of its students so it uses 3 hotels to house students in. I'm in my second year and have lived in a hotel both years. While it's nice to have the comfy bed, personal bathroom, and some other perks, there's a 15min shuttle to get to campus that only runs every 1.5 hours. Because of that, it is extremely difficult to participate in on campus activities. A second dorm is being built on campus, but even after it is finished there still won't be enough room for all the students and they will be using 1 hotel. The hotel has it's perks, but it could be so much better.
