The vast majority of students at Mercer have their own laptops. However, there are plenty of computers available for student use in various computer labs around campus. The most popular of these are the computers on the second floor of the library and the Academic Resource Center computer lab, though these tend to fill up quickly on weekday evenings. The Internet network is adequate, but it tends to be slow at times. Though WiFi is available around campus, the system seems to struggle to support the student body, which can be frustrating. Sometimes faster connections are seen on the Mercer computers.

Printing at Mercer costs 8 cents a sheet, so a personal printer may be a good investment in the long run for anyone anticipating many papers or reports. Tech support is generally helpful and although they are very inconveniently located in a remote corner of campus by Auxiliary Services, they are always an easy phone call away.
