5 College Sophomore

Overall Experience: The professors are always willing to help.

5 College Sophomore

Overall Experience: This is a highly valued school.

5 College Sophomore

Health & Safety: It's not a problem but it is handled well.

3 College Sophomore

Off-Campus Housing: You have to find it yourself, if you can.

College Sophomore

Party Scene: I usually don't do the party scene.

4 College Sophomore

Administration: It's just the right balance.

5 College Sophomore

Campus Housing: My campus is one of the most open and accepting.

3 College Student

Party Scene: when you are on campus , the best place to go party is somewhere close to your school.

3 College Student

Administration: i am someone who always follow the school rule do not matter how it is.

3 College Student

Scholarships: i am still applying for financial aid , and waiting for my pin .

3 College Student

Campus Food: i will suggest that the cafeteria have variety of food

4 College Student

Campus Housing: Living on campus looks great to me. you wont regret.

3 College Sophomore

Off-Campus Housing: There is not a lot of housing in the immediate area. The homes that are close are also kinda expensive.

4 College Sophomore

Off-Campus Dining: Mercer Village is great. The food is not too expensive but there are no student discounts since pretty much their only clientele. If you need a late-night snack, go to Waffle house at Riverside Dr. and Spring Street. They are very accommodating to special orders and they also provide student discounts. Also, it's the best WH in the area.

3 College Sophomore

Party Scene: The only thing o do if you're not in Greek life is to go downtown to the clubs. It can get expensive though since they all have cover charges now except for specialty nights.

4 College Sophomore

Administration: The administration and law-enforcment officers are kind ad helpful

3 College Sophomore

Scholarships: There's multiple offices to deal with. They used to side-by-side so if something was wrong with your financial aid, it wasn't a huge burden to go across the hallway to get the appropriate paperwork. Now, however, they have moved the financial aid office across campus, which has limited the efficiency of both offices somehow.

3 College Sophomore

Campus Food: The caf and the food court is very limited on the weekends. The quality during the week is poor but at least it is edible especially since they've been introducing more healthy options this year.

3 College Sophomore

Campus Housing: Freshman housing was awful, but now they are starting to move freshmen into the nicer dorms because they've run out of space. The lack of space, however is forcing people to move off campus while they're building more housing.

4 College Freshman

Overall Experience: I love the size of the school. Also everyone I've met here has been super friendly and down to earth.

5 College Freshman

Overall Experience: Class sizes are a really good size. Most of the professors are okay. Because the school is small you can usually figure out which professors are good and bad.

4 College Freshman

Overall Experience: Usually able to get a job after from what I've heard.

4 College Freshman

Guys & Girls: All the guys I have met have been very respectful and kind. None have ever made me feel uncomfortable or degraded in any way.

5 College Freshman

Athletics: Basketball games are always so fun and exciting. Mercer has the best student section. Definitely go to basketball games. Football games are a little less exciting because the team is new. But still fun

4 College Freshman

Greek Life: Not a part of Greek life, but the people in it usually are pretty nice and fun to be around

Overall ExperienceWhat's this?

Mercer provides a great overall experience for its students. It offers a good social environment, as well as an exceptional academic environment. However, it is also difficult. Even if you easily received A’s in high school, you will have to put substantial time and effort into your work here if you want to continue to get grades like that.

The professors at Mercer are passionate and often create classroom environments that are open-minded and thought-provoking. This sense of engagement and candidness can make your courses seem more exciting and worthwhile. Overall, the majority of Mercer students say they would not trade their experience at Mercer for anything.
