I am currently a sophomore at McNeese State and have overall positive views about the university. I've liked every single professor I've had so far and hope it remains that way. The professors are very understanding and give enough time to finish any work given. I would like to see the Criminal Justice department expand. There aren't that many teachers that work in this department so they have to switch off all the time. The university is nice but it could be nicer, the buildings need remodeling. I enjoy being at McNeese and would choose it over again if I had to!

I absolutely love how friendly everyone is here on campus. It is a very small campus so you see your professors everywhere and they always smile and wave. The clubs on campus host great events that are very interactive and connectable to all students. I would choose this school over and over again, the administration makes McNeese feel like home to me. I wouldn't change going to this school for anything!

The REC is a great place to hang out with your friends and work out. The indoor track is perfect for those who don't like to run outside. There is plenty of machines for all the students. My favorite part about the athletic facility is the free classes they provide. It's the perfect study break, and always has me come out of my shell to socialize with those around me. Yoga is personally my favorite class they provide!
