4 College Sophomore

Campus Resources: although I am new to the campus everything seems very nice, clean and everyone is very helpful!

5 College Senior

Academic Flexibility: The advisers are very easy to reach and gave me all the classes I wanted and needed at times that work for me even though I'm taking a full class load of five classes each semester. I was also guaranteed that all the classes I'm taking will transfer to any public college in Ohio.

Tuition & Financial Aid: My entire tuition is paid for so I only pay for textbooks. The advisers are easy to get reach here, unlike my experience with other schools, and willing to tell all they know about how to get the most financial aid and the best worth for your money. MTC offers especially high scholarships to high school students and even if there is no financial aid the school is one of the cheapest in the state. It's only a little over $2,000 per semester and that's pretty hard to beat. Under $9,000 for an associate degree when most schools want that for one semester.

Student Body: MTC's diversity is wide. There are people who think that they are superior to you in fashion, video gamer's, and then you have farm boys like myself. We see that there is not a lot available to us whereas the gamer's have their own days where they hold tournaments for Call of Duty. Not a lot of people fish the ponds so we have that but not a lot of fishing buddies.

Campus Quality: Since the campus is located in the city but lays on farm land, we walk the prairies and fish when we are not in classes. The ponds are stocked and have a lot of largemouth bass in them. Numerous students including myself are trying to get MTC and OSU Marion to install a mini compund bow range. Most of the students that go there are outdoors men and we would like to enjoy campus a little more.

Academic Experience: When you get into the program, you become a part time student because they do not want to over-work your schedule and keep your weekend free for personal activities. I will be on campus, 3 days a week and in the hospital setting for 2.

4 College Junior

Academic Experience: MTC focuses mainly on Nursing, Engineering and Business Management however, they spread the "love" around to the other programs. They added Diagnostic Medical Sonography to the list of majors. Most of the classes in the health field all correlate in one way or another so if you change your major, it makes it a lot easier and less stressful.

4 College Junior

Academic Flexibility: In the Spring, there were only 2 anatomy and physiology classes for the semester. Most of the general ed classes have numerous instructors and numerous class times which make it convenient.

2 College Junior

Tuition & Financial Aid: It would help if financial aid would be able to help explain how to get money. I barely have any financial aid through the Pell Grant and they don't fully explain or help you apply for scholarships even if you are on the Dean's List.

4 College Junior

Campus Resources: They have opportunities and activities one can do but I don't have the time in my busy schedule to do all of these. I know that numerous friends of mine would attend this school if there was an archery team.

3 College Junior

Campus Resources: Computer speed is fast in certain areas and in others, a snail is quicker. There are several open labs that students can use on campus

5 College Freshman

Student Body: I made a ton of new friends while at marion technical college

4 College Freshman

Campus Quality: I would get to school early just to have a quiet place to study and meet up with friends to help study with

4 College Freshman

Online Courses: I took one online class while at marion and when I had problems or questions it was very easy to get a hold of the teacher as well as getting a fast response.

4 College Freshman

Academic Flexibility: I found in the past year I have spent with Marion technical college to be very helpful. The staff were great with helping me get started! I did find the teachers to be very helpful as well. Now I am looking to transfer to Hondros for nursing.

3 College Senior

Online Courses: I prefer to learn in a classroom
