Health & Safety: Since it is a small community, the crime rate is not very high. I feel safe on campus but I would not rely on campus safety if I needed them. They tend to respond too late on important issues and are focused more on unimportant issues such as pulling people over.

Overall Experience: The class size is good because the professor can always answer any questions. Personally, the classes seem fairly easy and not as challenging as I would like.

Campus Housing: I live in the cheapest dorm-East Hall. It's a typical, old fashioned dorm, so some things are out of date and do not look as nice. It is typically a quieter dorm which is what i prefer. East Hall is close to the PERC (our recreational complex), dining hall and academic center, which is where most of my classes are. The best dorm is Helman which is the most expensive but far away from dining hall. Schwalm is equivalent to East hall but is sort of excluded from the rest of campus, especially the other halls.

Athletics: Students have become more involved in sports this year than they have in the past. Always huge crowds at almost every sporting event.

Overall Experience: The community is very small and there is not much to do here. The academics seem to be very good, though. The activities put-on by our activity committee are not continual throughout the year which makes school even more boring.

Drug Safety: Not that many people, atleast in my friend crowd, do drugs.

Party Scene: Of course there are going to be parties at a college campus. It's the students choice to partake in these activities.

Party Scene: Some students enjoy meeting people at parties, but not all students prefer to participate. So, for some, parties have a positive influence, while for others, it has the opposite.

Diversity: We have people from over 30 countries that come to school here and/or have studied abroad. I have had several classes where there has been an exchange student, and I think that is important to have them in classes so I can learn more about their culture.

Academics: There are many opportunities to study in your hall or outside of your hall. The professors have many study sessions, so if you have a problem with a certain class, you can get help. Professors email back very quickly, which allows for questions to be answered.

Health & Safety: Campus safety makes me feel very safe because the patrol officers will pick you up if you feel unsafe or uncomfortable. I've never had a problem with being unsafe, and neither have any of my friends. But I am aware that there are some students that may feel unsafe on campus.

Overall Experience: Many professors that I have had are very passionate at what they teach. It makes me more into the class because to see them get excited about it make sit contagious. Almost all of my professors have emailed me back that day I sent the email and helped me out the best they could. They are always willing to have meetings with me about grades or for help. Then after the meeting they thank me for being concerned about my grade, which motivates me even more. Also, another thing I love is that they have important speakers come to my school so I can learn more about my major and general things. I can make connections through these speakers and that is something vital in my program. My class size is about a 16 to 1 ratio, from student to professor. There have been classes that I have been in where its more of a discussion class or some I have been in where it's lecturing most of the time. I believe whenever I get to the next step in my life that there are least 6 professors that I could name that would help me get there.

Overall Experience: I'm an athletic training major, and they make it very important that we get a certain number of observation hours each year. They assign you a sport every year so you can get hands-on experience with the team. It is a great way to learn. With the observations, it makes you more prepared and confident when you actually get a job in the real world. We have a very excellent career service center. When I was questioning my major, they gave me the right tools to figure out if it was really what I wanted to do for the rest of my life. They made me feel like it was important to them that they could help me.

Campus Housing: I love living on campus. I enjoy the closeness between students and the close proximity I am to study rooms and labs. The cheapest dorm I lived in my first year and it wasn't too bad. I shared a community bathroom and it was that bad. People were very outgoing in that atmosphere. Now I live in a suite style setting and I like it a lot. I live with three of my good friends and I love being so close to them. We create a lot of memories and I enjoy having a bathroom I have to share with just those three. There are perks and cons in the suite. For example, we have to clean our bathroom and buy bathroom supplies. Pros are we have a bathroom just the three of us and Manchester provides free toilet paper for us. Also, if something is wrong with our bathroom we just tell the IT department and they come fix it right away. It is 1,000 more expensive but I think it's worth it.

Greek Life: We do not have sororities or fraternities on campus. I am indifferent about this. I think sometimes they could be distracting from my studies, which is the whole reason I am attending school. Although, many memories and fun times can happen through greek life, I am happy that I can make memories at my school without greek life.

Overall Experience: Manchester is very supportive of all students. One thing I really love about Manchester is that anyone and everyone are there for you. For example, Tony a boy that lived on my floor recently passed away two days before Christmas. This was a very depressing time for many of the students and it was incredible to see how students and staff came together to grieve together. The president emailed us telling us about the funeral times and how it is important to appreciate one another. Also, students were coming together talking about memories experienced with the student. Also, what I love about Manchester is whenever I have problems with a subject or any other issue there is always somewhere to go or someone to go to. We have received feedback letters from alum that have recognized our friendliness on campus. People hold doors for me that I have never seen in my life. Manchester is such a welcoming community and I am very proud to be apart of it.

Health & Safety: There is very little to no crime on campus. All of the crime on campus is either drug or alcohol related.

Campus Housing: Living on campus is one of the best parts about attending college. Everyone is super friendly and amazing.

Greek Life: There is no Greek life on campus.

Athletics: Students who do attend sporting events are very enthusiastic and show a lot of school spirit. However, the number of student who would be considered dedicated fans is low compared to other schools. The popular sports, like football and basketball, are commonly attended by many people but other sports, such as soccer, have very low attendance.

5 College Sophomore

Overall Experience: There is a very friendly and welcoming atmosphere, which it made it easy to make life long friends. Professors will do almost anything in order for their students to succeed.

Overall Experience: Manchester University is a great family oriented school. Its a small school and you see almost every student everyday. At lunch, you can eat with the professors and other students you haven't met before. The campus is always clean and beautiful during any season of the year. Professors are very willing to explain the content of the class in multiple ways for multiple students. Campus events are very fun and entertaining. The only problem is the tuition cost which is extremely high and the lack of scholarships do not help students like me who don't come from a family of money and struggle to pay for college.

Overall Experience: I really love the small campus and small class sizes. There's usually a lot to do on campus which makes up for the small town of North Manchester. All the Manchester employees are extremely friendly and they care about all the students. I definitely do not regret my decision of coming to Manchester.
