4 College Sophomore

Campus Housing: Overall I am pleased with the university I attend.

3 College Sophomore

Off-Campus Housing: Haven't investigated it Personally guessing average.

3 College Sophomore

Party Scene: If you want a party you have to look for it.

3 College Sophomore

Off-Campus Dining: There are some local spots and some chain. Decent variety

4 College Sophomore

Administration: You know what you're getting into before you agree to come to the school.

4 College Sophomore

Scholarships: Turn in the FASFA form ASAP

4 College Sophomore

Campus Food: Compared to other colleges it is pretty good.

4 College Freshman

Scholarships: The scholarship that helped me out the most was my athletic one for swimming and diving. Financial aid felt like a pain because it is very strict as to how much money you would get based on your family's income instead of what the student makes

4 College Freshman

Campus Food: There is always a variety of food to choose from. Sometimes it's not always the best, but we do have a great option

4 College Freshman

Campus Housing: The resident hall that I live in is very nice! It is always clean and reminds me of a hotel

3 College Freshman

Off-Campus Housing: Not a lot to choose from off campus. The college is in a poverty area, so the houses can be very cheap to buy; however, the further south you go down the street from the school the area becomes unsafe and gangs run the area

2 College Freshman

Party Scene: There are no parties at Malone. If you got away with one I don't know how you did it. Most students go to houses that other students have purchased off-campus. Others go and party at Mount Union University and then go to downtown Akron

5 College Freshman

Off-Campus Dining: There are so many different food options off-campus. Canton is loaded with great places that are not far from campus

4 College Freshman

Administration: They will always figure things out right away. You can't hide anything from them. Malone is very very strict about things. Some people compare Malone to a prison, others like the strictness. Personally I think the visitation hours are too strict

3 College Freshman

Athletics: The football team rarely wins, but that is okay because they school spirit is great!

4 College Freshman

Party Scene: There is little to no actual partying on campus which is great

5 College Freshman

Off-Campus Dining: a lot of choices off campus, and super close too.

5 College Freshman

Administration: Officer Dave is the best! Visitation hours are good, it's nice to have some days free of boys

5 College Freshman

Scholarships: I got way more scholarships than from any of the other schools I applied to

4 College Freshman

Campus Food: Sometimes the food in Froggy's is burned, but still good. The smoothies are fantastic! The dining hall options aren't always good, but most of the time they are.

5 College Freshman

Campus Housing: It's so friendly, it's nice to have my own space, the dorms were nice and clean. The cost in Heritage is more than others, but still convenient. It's close to almost all my classes. The moving in/out process was very smooth and easy.

3 College Freshman

Campus Food: The food tastes alright but there aren't always good options for musicians.

4 College Freshman

Campus Housing: Living on campus really helps you settle into college life and really helps it to feel like home away from home. Having your friends close by makes easy to study and gives the social life a lift. I love being able to see everyone when classes are over and I love the closeness to all the classes.

3 College Junior

Off-Campus Housing: Off-campus is fine, if you can get it. Malone doesn't own any off-campus housing, and makes it pretty hard for students to live off campus because they don't make as much money that way. It's probably best to resign yourself to the dorms, which are really pretty nice anyway, so it's not a big deal.

3 College Junior

Off-Campus Dining: There's definitely stuff within driving distance but not a lot of places you could walk to. We've got all the main chains like Taco Bell, Subway, Chipotle, McDonalds, etc., and you HAVE to try The Pizza Oven! Best pizza in town by far!
