Advice on Finding a Job/Internship
Most students find success with seeking internships by talking to the people in the Career Development Center and chatting with professors about potential opportunities. Don't feel like you've got to have everything figured out when you go to the CDC; discovering your strengths and interests is what interning is all about! The CDC will help with CVs, résumés, mock interviews, and other important aspects to secure the perfect position for you. Since past students have built up a positive reputation for how hard working and innovative people are from Macalester, there are countless internships and job opportunities in the Twin Cities for Macalester students in various fields. Make sure you take some time to explore internship and career options before your time at Macalester is up because the resources available to you are indispensable.
