5 College Freshman

Local Area: Baltimore is absolutely amazing. If you want to do something, odds are Baltimore has it. There's so many museums, restaurants, and touristy places to go to. Baltimore is home to many professional sports teams and Loyola often offers discounted prices on tickets to games.

3 College Freshman

Local Area: It is very hard to make the city of Baltimore, or any city for that matter, a safe-haven for college students.

2 College Freshman

Local Area: There's not many things to do off campus, and even if there was Loyola is located in a fairly bad part of the city. Students who go off campus get robbed fairly frequently.

2 College Freshman

Local Area: not in the best area. we always get reports of robberies and assaults on york road (right next to campus where all the bars are)

Loyola is located in a nice area, but if you go a few streets over, you are somewhere you would not want to be alone at night. The Inner Harbor is a nice area to visit both during the day and night, and there are restaurants as well as shops lining the waterfront.

There is always plenty to do in the city of Baltimore, whether it be taking the Collegetown shuttle to Towson, going to the mall or out to dinner, taking a cab to the nearby bars, attending concerts and movies, or going to the other schools in the area, such as Johns Hopkins, Goucher, and Notre Dame. The city atmosphere is nice, and there is always a lot to do in the area and in Baltimore.
