Overall Experience: Obtaining this degree is very integral to my advancing myself professionally. The school is not one of the best in the country, but is sufficient to be able to pass state liscensing boards

Student Body: A lot of mature students such as myself, with a nice mix of geeks & artistic students

Tuition & Financial Aid: My tuition is higher because I transferred from another state. Do not receive enough to live off of, so luckily for me I live with my adult son, otherwise it would be extremely difficult for me

3 College Junior

Campus Resources: It's okay as far as comparable community colleges are concerned - I have attended another community college that offered far more, even comparable to a 4yr university. Professors are for the most part, very approachable and receptive to assisting with the learning process.Staff very friendly and helpful!

Online Courses: Some professors do not really care about the students much, but the ones I have had so far care.

Student Body: Everyone has their own space really. If someone wants to talk, they will start a conversation.

Tuition & Financial Aid: It's very cheap to attend here but if you want to return after you have already transferred somewhere else, it does cost extra.

Academic Experience: I also go to work but when I'm not at work, I go back to Wossman High School and help new coming Trumpet player on their music and tone.

5 College Senior

Academic Experience: I study most of the time. I finish all homework assignments.

3 College Senior

Career Services: With the career center and all, there are only two people working in it but at the same time students can hardly contact them about a job of any kind. I do not believe there are any alumni networks at all.

5 College Junior

Academic Flexibility: My instructors have been understanding and encouraging as long as I do my work and keep in touch with them.

3 College Junior

Student Body: Not many people have talked to me or spoken out in class, but the few who have seem to be smart and willing to learn.

3 College Junior

Overall Experience: When I first started I believed that it would be a great year and I had high expectations. However, after being there for a month I've changed my mind. After they almost didn't accept my payment for school, they put me in a class where the teacher doesn't work with his students'. All I'm told is when we have homework, no extra help at all.

2 College Junior

Campus Quality: There isn't much to do at LDCC, the only programs we really have are fishing and theatre.

1 College Junior

Academic Flexibility: I'm a first time college student that has to do everything on my own, I've asked many questions however no one has been able to help me. It's frustrating knowing that they are there to help me but they don't even act like they care.

3 College Junior

Online Courses: It's a hard school to get into and they will not work with you at all. It's all on yourself to get in and do good, no noe there helps or cares about you at all.

Tuition & Financial Aid: Louisiana Delta Community College has been a great school so far. I do have tops that cover some of my tution but I cannot recieve finacial aid. I do think that I should be able to recieve it living on my own, but I am only 18 so I cannot specify living on my own yet. The school has helped me a lot with all my questions about everything. I do think I am getting my moneys worth going to school here.

Campus Resources: The resources on campus are awesome. The computer network rarely has issues and you are made aware if they do. Printing is great. You get like 500 pages per semester! Delta has computer labs all over. If there isn't a class already in there, you can go in there and do your work.

Campus Resources: Because it is a community college and not a four year university, Delta does not have a gym or sport's teams. The library is not huge but it is suitable for all your needs. The campus is comfortable enough to hang out on in between classes.

Campus Resources: Delta holds seminars to help with job hunting and resume writing. All the faculty are really nice and pleasant. They are more than willing to answer your questions. They have plays and art shows. Delta really puts forth the effort to help you figure out your future.

Online Courses: I was super nervous about taking online courses. However, that soon changed. The professors are super helpful. You can email them and they will quickly answer any and all of your questions. You do need to be self motivated. Most of the professors post all of the assignments and their due dates at the beginning of the semester. Each week, your professor may or may not remind you what is due that week. It is up to you to stay on top of your assignments and turn them in on time.
