4 College Sophomore

Campus Resources: The students have resources to help them from STEM, to EOP&S, and TRIO they help out students to succeed. Among that their are tons of student clubs and organizations to choose from and more are founded each year, with a rising sense of school pride there is a strong sense of community. There are great quality sports equipment, and facilities but no sports teams, so you can only use them if your taking a class.

5 College Junior

Campus Resources: they have a student center, big library with a lot of computers for everyone to use, great teachers, great staff, and great people.

4 College Senior

Campus Resources: The library is amazing, the first two floors you have computer access and the third floor is to study in a quiet environment. You can also sit in their couches and fall asleep.

Student Center is very helpful. I went last year throughout the whole fall term and the advisor would recognize me and be very nice. I recieved a lot of help especially for my universities applications.

Campus activities: Do we really have campus activities? I doubt it. LACC is very dull. There isn't any entertainment for the students or any activity that can involve students to participate after being in class.

3 College Junior

Campus Resources: my schools finacial aid office is always packed and its hard to get information on my own account

3 College Junior

Campus Resources: The library is a great place to go when one has to study. Although, it should be open extra hours.

Students should never hesitate to ask their instructor about available methods to excel in their studies or with projects. For the proactive student, teachers will assist you in checking out media equipment such as TVs, DVD players, CD players, and projectors for class projects. Members of ASO (Associated Students Organization) receive free weekly benefits that might include free copies, pencils, essay test booklets, or Scantrons for exams. There is no excuse for not being prepared. The new library, filled with books, also offers private study areas for group assignments, Internet research sources, free computer usage, and a minimal fee for printing.

The campus features foundation, business, counseling, finance, registration, and department offices (just to name a few). A search of the Los Angeles City College Web site thoroughly introduces students to the school's "Oasis of Learning" before a student even steps onto college grounds. In terms of aesthetics, the campus itself is beginning to stand proud with each newly-completed or renovated building. Overall, LACC offers the tools, and students should take advantage of them all.
