3 College Freshman

Technology: At Clearfield campus we have one computer lab and the library has some computers as well. The computer lab as about 20 computers and a table for students to use their laptops. Printing on campus is great, there are multiply places to print to. The speed is pretty good, wifi can be slow at times and sometimes doesn't work at all but the tech support gets it running again pretty quick when it stops. Its easy to access. At Clearfield campus some classes its helpful to bring a laptop to class because then you can just go on d2l and save the lecture notes to your laptop instead of printing them out or writing them down. So buy a laptop because it will come In handy a lot.

Technology: i don't really use the computers like that, i have my own laptop. i mostly use them to print stuff out.

3 College Junior

Technology: I think it is typical of most colleges. There is a good computer lab with several people to assist if needed. Network reliability and speed is pretty good. I have not had any real problems. I did bring my own laptop but you do not need to.

3 College Junior

Technology: The school computers could use some updating and the internet connections can also use some work.

3 College Junior

Technology: I jus hate having to constantly sign into the wifi.

Lock Haven's IT department offers five computer labs. During the daytime, Stevenson Library is crowded, and it's very hard to find an open computer. The Raub Hall lab is also packed because a majority of the time there is a class going on or students are there working on other work. There are only two printers on the main level of Stevenson, and they are always low on ink.

Tech support is located on the fifth floor of Robinson Hall. The only problem with Lock Haven's tech support team is that they only fix certain brand-name computers. The Internet service on campus is slow, and a lot of times, in the dormitories, students lose their connection. There aren't a lot of computers for students, faculty, and staff to use on campus during 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. If you're coming to Lock Haven, a laptop is much needed.
