Off-Campus Housing: I currently live on campus, but am looking into off campus housing for the future. It has been somewhat difficult to find a place that is both suitable and affordable.

Off-Campus Housing: I live 1/2 hour from campus, but there seems to be a good selection near campus and walking is as close as commuter lots.

Off-campus living is not that expensive at Lock Haven. It's worth it to live off campus because it’s not that costly—plus, it gets students ready for the real world and more accustomed to living on their own. Overall, the houses and apartments around "the Haven" are not far from campus, with a majority of them being within walking distance.

There is a lot of apartment availability if one chooses to live off campus. Evergreen Commons is a suite-style apartment complex owned by the University. This complex has two- and four-bedroom suites available for students. The proximity to campus is not far at all. The campus is small to begin with, and the walk to campus is beautiful. Overall, living off campus is cheap, convenient, and there are many options from which to choose.
