Academic Experience: LBCC's Equine Science program is great. I loved the Young Horse Training class, because we got to learn a lot of great training methods that worked and I could apply to my own horse. I fully plan on taking it again this year to get more experience working with horses before I start calling myself a trainer, which is what I want to be eventually. I also loved the Horse Center. The arena is a nice size, although did get a bit crowded when there was more than 5 horses in it. The stalls and grooming area were spacious and the tack room was well organized.

Academic Experience: I like how wide the variety of classes available at my school is. The work can sometimes be consuming and makes it hard to have a personal life but that is part of being a student. Sometimes the path of the curriculum can be hard to follow, it can skip around. There are numerous job opportunities around the area but few internships. They are more likely to be replaced with job shadows.

Academic Experience: The classes keep challenging you but they don't make you want to quit.

Academic Experience: Being an English major is never an easy thing, but the teachers seem to know what they're doing (I've had a few bad apples here and there) but for the most part they are willing to help. The classrooms and lecture halls are comfortably sized (especially at the Benton Center) and the atmosphere is warm and inviting. I think LBCC has done a great job of getting me prepared for the workforce in my field.

Academic Experience: The academic experience, the classes chosen in the past three years were overall great with professors and teachers that made learning fun and exciting. I learned very much and would take the majority of the classes again if possible.
