Scholarships: I rarely had any problems dealing with their office

Transportation: There are buses that run every 5 minutes or so on school days and less on the weekends. However, buses are usually quite crowded and sometimes don't arrive exactly when scheduled so you need to budget time to make sure that you have enough time to get to class. However, considering the walk from one side of campus to the other is approximately 15-20 minutes, the bus doesn't seem so bad.

Parking: Parking can be pretty crazy, especially for freshmen. We are required to park really far away from our dorms and cannot park in certain spaces around campus or our cars will be towed and a $90 fee given.

Athletics: The athletics are excellent - we have the snowflex ski slope as well as the ice skating rink. There are many club sports options to choose from as well as the huge football, baseball, soccer, and volleyball teams.

Academics: The professors in my major are extremely competent and have challenging, but reasonable expectations of the students. The people within my major share a comfortable community environment.

Guys & Girls: The campus is full of fairly athletic and friendly people. Most are in tune with the campus's mission.

Drug Safety: The drug safety on campus relies on a strong presence of the security team. The students seem to be very aware of their surroundings and the peer pressure of day to day life.

Transportation: There are many options of transportation on and off the campus. Taxis are the most expensive form of transportation and the public bus system seems to be the least.

4 College Sophomore

Scholarships: The financial aid process was fairly simple. I did everything on-line and the University did the follow up. The University informed me a few days later that they received all the information they needed to offer me financial aid. My tips for other students, they need to understand that after they accept the reward, there is an entrance counseling review they must complete.

4 College Junior

Transportation: Student work together for long distant travel, and local transportation is always available

Party Scene: At Liberty you are attending to get an education and develop a closer relationship to God, not party

Campus Housing: Friendly, Christian environment. Positive uplifting shcool

Scholarships: I was very grateful for the scholarships I qualified for, although I had to double-check on at least one, if it came through later than I had hoped for.

Off-Campus Housing: I think the off-campus housing selection all depends on what the student wants to do, or if he or she is ready to live off-campus. For the most part, living on-campus appears to free students up to having the needed classes more accessible, without extra travel time.

Campus Quality: Besides the outstanding facilities, I think that Liberty University stands out the most because of the Christian values it promotes and encourages the student to follow.

5 College Junior

Technology: The school has excellent computer labs; however, I prefer to have my own laptop to work on my studies.

5 College Junior

Campus Quality: I am a pre-med student, and keep busy with studies, weight room, lab, and occasionally a football game.

5 College Sophomore

Athletics: Liberty athletics are very strong, and school spirit is encouraged for all games in all different sports division or club.

Transportation: The buses are always very clean and timely, it is very helpful to be able to rely on them as T move about campus.

3 College Freshman

Transportation: They have an agreement with the local city bus system that is awesome for students and workers because you may ride for free, however, you are also not as close to many of the stops and you have to factor in the times of waits for the busses as well as take into account that the stops are in the not so nice parts of town.

4 College Freshman

Diversity: there are many different ethnicities. A lot of African and Asian foreign exchange students. Also, for any ethnicity there is also a group set up for them to help them meet new people and to help them better express themselves.

3 College Freshman

Scholarships: They have many scholarships but with it being such a big school it is very important for you to make copies of any and all things you need to submit to the school.. just for your own sake.

5 College Freshman

Administration: they are force but it is completely for the students well being. You sign a contract stating you won't do certain things, if that is an issue then you shouldn't attend. They are strict but it is all explained why in their handbook and agreement you sign upon admission to the school.
