Campus Housing: There are a lot of students to find places for, so some areas are pretty cramped. The highest costing dorms don't always have the best atmospheres, and I've found that I prefer the lower economical rung of housing for social purposes, but it takes a bus to get to classes.

Off-Campus Housing: I don't live off campus but I've heard nothing but good things from students who live off campus

Off-Campus Dining: There is a little bit of everything and they try to cater to the students and give discounts.

Administration: At times it can be too much, but they have standards they want to keep

Party Scene: There are some parties I hear about, but honestly I am not here to drink my brains out. I have a great time with friends playing sports and just hanging out.

Scholarships: I did not apply for financial aid.

Campus Food: The food is fine. It is good for a campus that serves so many people. It stops serving food pretty early which is frustrating when it is open and all you can make is a sandwich. Over the passed two semesters food has improved.

Campus Housing: The dorms are spacious and not too crowded. There are the standard dorms with community bathrooms that are cleaned daily. Right outside of my dorms are the intramural fields which is convenient for outdoor movie nights and games. It is a short walk to the educational buildings (no more than 5 minutes). Choosing housing is quite simple to do.

Administration: Great, fun Christian atmosphere! A place of honor and Godly learning. A college with real people, real Christians with faults and all. But a place where Jesus is Lord and higher learning is the goal and finding what God's plan is for your life.

Scholarships: The Military Affairs office is great and very helpful, but for regular information on anything other than loans, the main financial aid department doesn't have too much help. Really looking for scholarships and grants and any help out there that doesn't cover the partial aid I already have.

Campus Food: I honestly haven't eaten there, but been through the cafeteria and looks awesome! Great variety, lots of choices and fresh!

5 College Junior

Scholarships: I had no issues with getting my FAFSA Pell Grant approved nor with my TA. Good customer service as well.

Campus Housing: I do not stay in campus housing so I cannot accurately review it.

Off-Campus Housing: It is much cheaper to live off campus. The apartments in Lynchburg aren't amazing, but they are relatively safe and the landlords are great. Plus, LU sends a bus around four of the complexes to pick up off-campus students.

Off-Campus Dining: It feels like you can find almost any restaurant in the world on Wards Rd, which runs parallel to the school.

Administration: The "Liberty Way" is infamous for being strict. I say it's their house, so respect the rules-- you know what you are signing up for.

Party Scene: Liberty's party scene really is the worst, and they are proud of that fact. As for me, I love the no-party atmosphere-- it feels a lot more wholesome, studious, and fun.

Scholarships: Financial aid is never fun, but Liberty makes the process as smooth as it can. You do not have to go digging for information, and they email you consistently if you have not completed something necessary. Their call center is also extremely helpful and usually available.

Campus Food: Unfortunately, many students complain about our main cafeteria (The Rot), but in reality it is amazing. In that one space alone there are probably 10 different dining options, not to mention the loaded salad bar. We also have plenty of restaurants to choose from, including three Starbucks, Chik-fil-a, a bistro, Papa John's, a diner, and a "fresh market" buffet.

My one complaint is that, as a commuter, I have to pay a ridiculous amount for meal swipes.

Off-Campus Dining: anything off campus is aways good

Campus Food: There are plenty of nutritious options.

Off-Campus Housing: There's a variety of options for off-campus housing from student apartments to privately rented houses. The quality of landlords vary just like anywhere else. There's also a decent amount of off-campus housing near campus with the vue right behind walmart and townhomes for rent across from candler's mountain station. The school even has transportation for students living at the various apartment complexes in town.

Off-Campus Dining: There are some really great local restaurants in town, some you have to venture out to find. There's definitely a decent variety of options whether it's local or a chain, american or ethnic, cheap or more expensive.
