3 College Freshman

Local Area: I haven't been off campus much, but there are stores and restaurants as well as movie theaters and theaters for plays.

3 College Freshman

Majors: I'm not really sure about looking into internships, but it would be cool to intern with a movie company such as Dreamworks or Pixar.

3 College Freshman

Health & Safety: I feel safe enough on campus. There are often security people somewhere nearby.

3 College Freshman

Scholarships: They are often confusing, but when contacted and asked, they help figure things out

4 College Freshman

Administration: Everything they are strict about, I am glad they are strict about, because otherwise these activities would interrupt other students, and through them my own, acadamic lives.

4 College Freshman

Athletics: There is a lot of school support and its nice that we can go to the football games for free

5 College Sophomore

Majors: Excellent selection of majors to choose from

Party Scene: It's a Christian school! Duh!

Off-Campus Dining: A lot to choose from very near by

Local Area: Lynchburg is a great city. A bit run-down, but they've improved a lot and are continuing to build up the area. It's a very cute, hipster-y area.

5 College Freshman

Party Scene: There is essentially no party scene here and I LOVE it. I don't party, I don't enjoy partying, and I have no interest in it. I am extremely social, I just have a strong disdain for the "party" lifestyle.

Off-Campus Housing: There are many different kinds of housing on this campus. There is the hill, east campus, the circle, the commons, the quads, and the annex 1 and 2. They are all very affordable, and cater to different student's needs, and interests.

Off-Campus Dining: Liberty University has some of the best dining options in any other school in America. There is a wide variety of food on this campus, as well as, off campus.

Guys & Girls: Liberty University's campus is filled with amazing individuals who are pursuing a higher education, and a better future, while being in a godly environment. The students here are very accepting, modest, and are team players. Most of the students on this campus are Christians, and because of this, there are many couples on campus.

Administration: Many people state that Liberty University's various policies are very strict, but I tend to disagree. Yes, the campus has an honor code, which is known as the Liberty Way, in which students pledge to abide by various rules, but ultimately, the rules benefit student's academic and social lives. For instance, the school's strict attendance policies cause students to have a higher GPA than if they didn't attend various classes. Also, if the school didn't enforce "quiet hours", then there would be numerous complaints concerning roommates, hall mates, or quad mates making too much noise. Overall, Liberty University's policies benefit students' development academically, socially, and spiritually.

4 College Freshman

Campus Housing: Overall, housing is very good. The housing options are extremely diverse and generally well-kept.

5 College Freshman

Athletics: The athletics offered at Liberty University involves the community, students, alumni, as well as, professors in a very strong way. In terms of student involvement, every Friday night, when there is a home game on Saturday, eager fans camp outside of the stadium-- just to get good seats. Also, the school strongly encourages to wear the school colors, and there is even a special club known as the Flames club. Flames club members pay for a membership, and then enjoy the various benefits, such as preferred seating.

Scholarships: Financial aid was a hassle. My student loans were dropped at one point through no fault of mine and scholarships that I should have received were denied. The only "good" thing is that they were good with extending deadlines -- which wouldn't have needed to be extended if they had not mishandled the situation.

5 College Freshman

Athletics: Student turnout at games is consistently among the highest in the country.

4 College Freshman

Administration: I enjoy the strict academic environment of my school. It is a relief to not have to deal with drunk, high, or similarly influenced peers while I am trying to go about my life here. The attendance policies are okay most of the time and awful the rest, but the school administration follows a federal attendance policy so it does not get a say in that.

5 College Freshman

Health & Safety: I have yet to hear of any instance of rape, assault, theft, etc. on campus. LUPD is quick to respond and easily accessible. I feel very safe, even walking alone at night.
