Local Area: LU students are well known by locals for many of the community service projects they've started and accomplished.

Health & Safety: The LUPD is constantly patrolling the campus, making the community feel much safer!

Scholarships: Well, I was actually very lucky. About half my tuition was paid off with scholarships and the other half was with my dad's G.I. Bill, which will only last me this year. Do yourself a favor. Once you're accepted to any college, start your scholarship search!!!

Majors: Despite the high additional cost, the aeronautics program is definitely worth the heavy workload! All the aeronautics students are very professional and the flight training is very helpful thanks to the proficiency of the program's flight instructors!

Off-Campus Dining: Decent amount of dining options in the area.

Diversity: Ethnic diversity is a part of the student body.

Overall Experience: The school accidentally dropped all my courses one semester. This was an absolute headache. However, the school made up for it once I contacted the right people (it took a while to climb the hierarchical ladder). Let's be honest, the online program is so big that managing it can be difficult for the personnel. Since January 2014, I have noticed that I now have an assigned academic advisor. This has been an improvement in management.

Guys & Girls: I have met many friendly guys and girls at Liberty through intensive classes.

Local Area: I can see the potential in Lynchburg. It is slowly acquiring a college town feel. However, Liberty's online program overshadows the undergraduate program and may be too big, in my opinion. Nonetheless, the online program is good for the local economy (hotels, restaurants, etc.).

Overall Experience: I am an online graduate student, so I can say that I feel like the admissions process was impersonal.

Off-Campus Dining: The options are somewhat limited, but the food is better than some university towns. I love Panera Bread.

Administration: The administration looks out for the students and does their best to provide a safe atmosphere on campus for everyone.

Academics: The professors, curriculum, workload is all that it needs to be. They teach the truth about our world and they push students to think about the world around us.

Party Scene: The party scene has a positive impact on the student experience. Drinking and drugs are not allowed whatsoever, and because of that campus life is safer and better. Parties have their place and only take place for specific reasons.

Local Area: Great local atmosphere. I love how the campus is set up. Everything is easily accessible.

Administration: The administration is fine, however the problem lies in the arbitrary nature of rule enforcement when it comes to RAs. Since dress code and other minor infractions are left up to the discretion of the RAs, there is a vast spectrum of offenses that go without address. I'm not necessarily opposed to these rules, but the fact that they are only periodically enforced is infuriating.

5 College Sophomore

Scholarships: Liberty offers plenty of help for their students and I have received help from them. I have a hard time affording school because my family has fallen into unfortunate financial circumstances that we are still trying to work through. I have notified the school about my issues and they have helped in any way they could.
