Overall Experience: Liberty has been very accommodating to my schedule by being flexible with demands from my work and family. The professors for the online classes are great to work with and are passionate about their content and helping students succeed. I often wish I would have looked into Liberty for my undergrad degree or previous graduate degrees.

Overall Experience: Liberty University has offered me some of the best experiences of my life. I have been able to get involved with countless volunteer opportunities along with joining clubs. Though many schools offer this same thing, Liberty has such a great atmosphere. Everyone that I have met so far have been exceptionally friendly. Liberty has given me everything I could have asked for and more.

Overall Experience: Liberty University will give you an unparalleled college experience and education. The people and professors here are the most genuine and friendly people I've ever met. Everyone cares about each other at Liberty; we are much more than a college. We are family. Although we do have our set doctrine and Christian beliefs, I've never had an experience or witnessed someone being completely torn down or discriminated against because their beliefs differ from what we believe. We teach the truth in love, all while gaining a superior education. The classes are academically challenging, interesting, and engaging. We have so many resources available to us as students, and it really shows that Liberty and it's administrators, staff, and faculty want us to succeed and are willing to help us out in any way they can. With over 150 undergraduate degree programs, there's a major for almost everyone. Liberty was not my first choice of school, but after attending here three years, I wouldn't trade in my Liberty education for anything.

Overall Experience: I transferred to Liberty from a general online college, I had switched my major because I felt that I could help more people with my major in Psychology. Liberty offers many different majors to choose from and many different degree plans. One of the best things about Liberty that I have noticed is they are willing to help you in every way possible to help your succeed your goals. Every time I call to speak with someone about my program or any issue I have, it is easy to get an actual person to solve my problem and it is resolved quickly and will a polite and friendly manner. This college is GREAT!

Overall Experience: I was recommended this school by a friend. One of the best things about this school is that you are able to take classes online in the comfort of your home. I am 68 years old and had never attended college so this has been something that really means a lot to me.

Overall Experience: Liberty was/is an amazing institution. I don’t agree with the way they teach theology, as a very large mass of students did not grow up Christian. Also, they can be extremely closed-minded and intolerant of those who share different beliefs, even if the beliefs are held within what most would consider “Christian”.

The community that you find there, however, is worth the trouble. There are more people than you can imagine who are very open-minded and interested in different perspectives. The location is perfect. It is a small, college town and very close to the artsy downtown area. While there isn’t a ton to do other than hit up the coffee shops and go to concerts and hockey games on campus (which I still think are fabulous activities), the community you have no matter what you’re doing makes it completely unnoticeable.

The school provides the students with endless opportunities to travel, take internships, play sports, be in clubs, etc. They even have a paintball course and their own stables. They mountains are absolutely beautiful. It is a stunning sight walking to classes each morning.

In summary, I am not religious. I am hardcore all about Jesus, but I don’t share their beliefs about hell and judgment which is pretty foundational regarding what they teach. But even though I find it extremely annoying that they are so pushy about their own perspective, it is still well worth it. What you gain far exceeds the annoyances. Visit the campus; you’ll fall in love.

Overall Experience: Liberty has a great mix of professional development, biblical doctrine, and scholarly pursuits. If you're a focused student with strong core values, then Liberty is definitely a fit for you. Because of many of the rules in place, it is sometimes hard to meet the opposite sex.

Overall Experience: I absolutely love Liberty, from the academics to the student life. It's all a very welcoming, very awesome environment for learning. The food options are great and varied, which is a huge thing for me! The dorms are nice and the school has a wide variety of options as far are on campus living goes. Convocation is cool as we get to see world class speakers and get to hear from them what it takes to be a professional in various fields.

Campus Food: The food at Liberty is pretty great in the fact that there is a huge variety to choose from. However, I would say that most people find about 5 things that they really like and get it constantly, that's when the food starts to get old. Overall, they have tons options, many of which are fairly healthy. It's also nice to have some restaurants on campus (namely chick-fil-a, Starbucks, and Dunkin Donuts) as well as off campus that you can use flames cash at. I would definitely say the meal plan and food outranks any other college I have visited.

Scholarships: Since it is a private university, they have many of there own scholarships that they are able to award outside of government financial aid. That was a huge help to me and I got several thousand dollars directly from the school that I wouldn't have received otherwise.

Campus Housing: Housing truly has any style you might be looking for. There are brand new, modern style dorms. Apartment style dorms with a kitchen and living room. Then there are the classic 3 person bunk bed dorms with community bathrooms. Each dorm has a different community aspect and I'm sure you will be able to to find what fits you best.

Campus Housing: I love the campus housing. They are closing down the dorm I stayed at my first year, but I am not worried because all of the dorms there are awesome.
