Campus Housing: In my case, getting a dorm on campus sucks because of my financial aid. Lately, I have been struggling to do the Financial Check-In on time before the deadline because of inconvenience with my parents' IRS Tax Return Transcript, and additional documents that is needed in order to get my financial aid package. I was recently told that if I don't do my financial aid by July 1st, my housing option will be dropped, and my classes as well, and I might have to go back to living at the same dorm place that I was in my freshman year, which I hated.

Athletics: We have a huge school spirit when it comes to sports, especially Ice Hockey, Football, Baseball, and Basketball. I love that there are so many fan support no matter the sport; it shows that we have our athletes back, and are for them.

Administration: Some of their rules, honestly, are kind of ridiculous like no hugging for more than 5 minutes of whatever, and getting fines for silly things like not making the bed, and also curfew is kind of annoying, but I will get over it.

Campus Quality: There were many unique opportunities at my school, but since I was living at a dorm that wasn't technically on campus, it was pretty difficult to get involved as much as I wanted to than if I was to live on campus. But the best opportunities were like joining intramurals, attending concerts, coffeehouse, and sport events.

Campus Quality: Though I wasn't living on campus, and getting involved in activities were kind of hard because of time management, I still met great friends, hanged out a lot at the library or at food joints, or at sport events, and there was always something to do on campus; it was never-ending. You could literally never get bored.

Off-Campus Dining: There are a lot of off-campus dining that are great and convenient. But it's better if you have a car to travel there, or you could simply walk there but that can be difficult sometimes, and there can be a lot of time wasted.

Campus Food: My first year there, there wasn't a lot of options; there were mostly the same menus almost everyday, but the menus did start to change during Spring semester.

Academics: Songwriting is not a job, but I would like to go back to school after I graduate from Liberty University, and major in Instrumental Studies: Concentration in Music Education.

Administration: There are a lot of rules, but it's supposed to help teach us what is right and wrong according to Biblical values. Some people hate it, some people embrace it. However, everybody jokes about following the set of rules called the "Liberty Way" because some rules aren't as enforced as others.

Local Area: There isn't too much to do outside of Liberty University and Wards Road. There is a professional baseball team and a river and a mountain with trails, but after a while, it gets a little old. Sometimes you have to go out of the way to make memories and have a great time.

Off-Campus Dining: A lot of off-campus dining places have discounts for college students and it is food that every college student likes. The variety is also great as well from Buffalo Wild Wings to Panera Bread to Olive Garden to La Carreta.

Majors: The great thing about my program is that the teachers are always there for you. There are many ways to get internships and work-study jobs with my major. I enjoy it because of my peers and the teachers that have helped me get through my classes.

4 College Junior

Academics: The workload is acceptable. The facilities are fairly new. The internship opportunities are plenty. The faculty are GREAT. There is an abundance of job opportunities for my major after I graduate.

Academics: The registration process is fairly easy and quick. Students can pick and choose what kind of workload they can have. There are plenty of study abroad options. The most popular majors are Music, Business, and Religion. Almost all of the professors have a doctorate degree. Very highly qualified faculty at Liberty.

Diversity: There isn't much diversity in religion or values.

Campus Housing: Other than the old dorms, they are great to live in.

4 College Junior

Off-Campus Housing: There is a variety of options available with a variety of costs for students who have different financial needs. Many of the LU students choose to live off-campus by their senior year because of the ease of applying for it and getting it approved.

Health & Safety: Other than some creepy Lynchburg people that make their way on campus, it is relatively safe to be on campus during anytime of the day, especially since the LU Police Department is always standing by.

Athletics: The atmosphere is amazing at the athletic events. Sometimes student support for teams can be sparse, but when the team is doing well, then the students will show up in early, wearing red, and being loud. Everybody goes to the football games. More than half the teams at Liberty usually compete well enough to win conference championships every year and advance to NCAA tournaments. It's AWESOME!
