Local Area: I dont have a car so i dont really get out much other than the drive to church and the activities we do there with the congregation

Overall Experience: This school is amazing so long as you have an open mind and know that this is a Christian University so even if your not a Christian you should at least respect the fact the most everyone else is.

Overall Experience: I absolutely love LU. If you apply yourself and actually seek to find the good on campus you will find it and it is so encouraging to know that my fellow students are there for me as well as most of them are also my brothers and sisters in Christ. My program in top 5 in the US not to mention LU is the number 1 international Christian University

Overall Experience: The school really works with you to get the best in everything for you and that includes equipment and internships.

Guys & Girls: The guys here are hotties with hearts for God, generally speaking. Sure there are people who dont know God and do horrible things. However, if you look for the bad you will always find it.

Greek Life: We dont have Greek life, however we had brother sister dorms that can get pretty close throughout the years.

Off-Campus Housing: Often, moving off is cheaper than living on campus, and Liberty runs a bus to certain apartment complexes. Most of the apartments in town would require driving however. Liberty has a commuter fair every year/semester to showcase the different places around town.

Off-Campus Dining: There is a lot of variety around Lynchburg including a wonderful Indian restaurant and Korean market that serves food. There are also a lot of good coffee shops.

Administration: Liberty is in essense a stricter school, so the honor code is upheld for the most part. Sometimes, the attendence policy is a little stiffling to me, though.

Party Scene: It seems to me to be pretty non-existent, and it isn't something I've sought out.

Scholarships: Talking to the financial aid office is a headache, and there's usually a line.

Campus Food: For the most part, I like Liberty dining. The food quality has improved, and I ususally find something I like. There are days at the Hill City Bistro (mini-rot) that there isn't much in the way of quality, but overall, I like the food. I really enjoy the bonna-fide Starbucks in the library as well as the food options currently in the cafe downstairs.

Campus Housing: There are a lot of students to find places for, so some areas are pretty cramped. The highest costing dorms don't always have the best atmospheres, and I've found that I prefer the lower economical rung of housing for social purposes, but it takes a bus to get to classes.

Off-Campus Housing: I don't live off campus but I've heard nothing but good things from students who live off campus

Off-Campus Dining: There is a little bit of everything and they try to cater to the students and give discounts.

Administration: At times it can be too much, but they have standards they want to keep

Party Scene: There are some parties I hear about, but honestly I am not here to drink my brains out. I have a great time with friends playing sports and just hanging out.

Scholarships: I did not apply for financial aid.

Campus Food: The food is fine. It is good for a campus that serves so many people. It stops serving food pretty early which is frustrating when it is open and all you can make is a sandwich. Over the passed two semesters food has improved.

Campus Housing: The dorms are spacious and not too crowded. There are the standard dorms with community bathrooms that are cleaned daily. Right outside of my dorms are the intramural fields which is convenient for outdoor movie nights and games. It is a short walk to the educational buildings (no more than 5 minutes). Choosing housing is quite simple to do.

Administration: Great, fun Christian atmosphere! A place of honor and Godly learning. A college with real people, real Christians with faults and all. But a place where Jesus is Lord and higher learning is the goal and finding what God's plan is for your life.

Party Scene: This is a Christian Campus, not looking for parties. :)

Scholarships: The Military Affairs office is great and very helpful, but for regular information on anything other than loans, the main financial aid department doesn't have too much help. Really looking for scholarships and grants and any help out there that doesn't cover the partial aid I already have.

Campus Food: I honestly haven't eaten there, but been through the cafeteria and looks awesome! Great variety, lots of choices and fresh!

5 College Junior

Scholarships: I had no issues with getting my FAFSA Pell Grant approved nor with my TA. Good customer service as well.
