Academics: It's a place for high-achieving students, so I feel challenged but not squashed in the pursuit of my studies.

Diversity: There are over 80 countries at LU and some of my best friends are international students. It's awesome to have the opportunity to know people from so many different places and perspectives.

Drug Safety: Drug and alcohol usage is not prominent on campus. You can have lots of fun without it.

Overall Experience: I feel very confident that I will get a job after graduation. My previously graduated friends already have jobs and I have friends that have jobs waiting for them for when they graduate.

Overall Experience: I love my professors, they are active experts in their field and know just how to feed into their students lives. They are willing to support me and pray for me no matter what I am dealing with. The class sizes are just right where you interact with a lot of other students, but also can have one on one communication with your professors.

Health & Safety: No matter the time of day I feel comfortable on campus

Overall Experience: I love how my school has developed me spiritually

Athletics: We have a huge variety of sports on every level. Football, baseball, basketball, hockey, track, soccer, lacrosse. Both men's and women's sports. It's awesome.

Health & Safety: There has been zero crime since I have begun attending, and I had not heard of any before I enrolled either. There are police cars patrolling the campus regularly, and students have a curfew which prevents them from being out alone late at night.

Overall Experience: The professors at Liberty are not only invested in your academic growth but also your personal and spiritual growth. The courses here are appropriately challenging, but the honors program offers an even greater challenge to those who desire it. In fact, as an honors student, you are required to complete a 25-page thesis your final semester which makes you a much more competitive applicant for graduate schools. Overall, the campus is warm and friendly! People are generally outgoing and are always eager to start a conversation or ask you if you need prayer for anything.

Overall Experience: Liberty holds multiple career fairs for the different schools throughout the year. They also require most majors to undergo an internship their last semester, which helps make transitioning into a career more likely and an easier process overall.

Campus Housing: I am currently residing on The Hill. While it is a great option for socialization and proximity to classes, it is very noisy and not the cleanest. The dorm had a spider problem when I arrived, and there was some mold in the community showers. However, a cleaning lady does come over morning (M-F), with the excetion of weekends. The Commons housing is very new and much cleaner, however. The Commons also provides two-person rooms, in contrast to The Hill which offers three-person rooms only.

Athletics: Liberty University prides itself in its top-notch Football team. As such, football games are always loud, fun, and high-energy. Our team is nationally-ranked, and so some of our games our televised.

4 College Junior

Overall Experience: Liberty University offers an impressive array of opportunities--physical, spiritual, academic, and physical. What especially makes Liberty unique is that the professors seem to be personally invested in the lives of their students. In addition to these things, Liberty University offers many different courses and majors, as well as plenty of fun extracurricular activities to participate in.

Health & Safety: Centra Health Services is located on campus with doctors available for students at all times to make sure everyone is taken care of when they are sick. The Title IX office is focused on sexual assault and they meet with and look after anyone who has been a victim of sexual assault. It is a confidential office with counselors to help these people cope with the difficult time. Liberty has a full police department with both and emergency and non-emergency phone number available to make sure that students always feel safe. If a student has to walk somewhere alone at night they can call LUPD to come safely give them a ride to their destination. LUPD is on campus 24/7 driving around to make sure that everyone is as safe as possible.

Overall Experience: There are constantly job recruitment fairs at Liberty and Liberty has a lot of connections with different companies and employers. The alumni network is constantly advertised and they try to keep up with Alumni to make sure they are succeeding. The career center is so helpful with applying for jobs, interviews, and finding the best options for students. They even help students write their resumes and cover letters.

5 College Junior

Overall Experience: I would not attend anywhere else. The professors are amazing and really care about what they are teaching. They make sure that we are well prepared for after Liberty and ready to take on the world with a Biblical Worldview of our profession. They encourage us to be more Christ-like in everything we do. They have a wide variety of courses and lots of advisors to help you pick your classes and graduate on time. The class sizes are larger for Gen-Eds but are a lot more personal when you get into higher level courses.

Campus Housing: I am an RA on campus so I know that Liberty works really hard to make sure that the dorms are the best that they can be. We as RAs are responsible to make sure that residents are taking care of the dorms so that they stay nice for future students. I love the dorms here.

Athletics: Liberty is working very hard to make Liberty one of the best schools for Athletics and have made huge progress. We are a Division I school with great athletic teams. Students love going to games and there is a ton of school spirit, especially for the football team. The athletic facilities are getting better and better every year.

Overall Experience: I have loved every moment spent at Liberty. Specifically my favorite thing is being involved in Student Leadership as a Prayer Leader and RA. It has helped me learn to lead and to love people more. It has helped me grow both spiritually and professionally. Liberty makes sure that every student is loved and cared for all the time.

Greek Life: I do not participate in fraternities or sorority

4 College Junior

Overall Experience: I was indecisive but once I decided things moved quickly, the registration gave me the space I needed to make my choice without pressure.

Health & Safety: I feel very safe when I am on campus and am not afraid to be alone at any time on campus. Liberty is a dry campus, which also makes me feel safer, and LUPD is willing to drive girls back to their dorms late at night if they need it.
