5 College Sophomore

Campus Quality: Everyone you come in contact with is very encouraging, and help brighten your day!

3 College Junior

Diversity: Most people are respectful of Christian theology, but it is a school open to all people.

4 Recent Alumnus

Majors: I am very happy with the program I am enrolled in. It is exactly what I have been looking for. I am looking forward to working with youth and families and my program will take me to that end. I believe I will be very successful in that goal with the chosen major.

4 Recent Alumnus

Majors: When I applied at Liberty I was accepted without pause. I had already received a Bachelor's in the needed area to be accepted. The program offers the classes that take you directly into your major from the beginning. It was very easy to get into the program of my choice.

3 Recent Alumnus

Scholarships: I received financial aid but some of my forms seemed to be missing continuously. I had to contact financial aid to find out about them and its taken me almost three months and still have not been able to do financial check-in as of yet. I have never had this problem any where else.

3 College Freshman

Diversity: The majority of students are Religious - this IS a religious school, although there are always some people who just come here for the good programs of study. We have A LOT of international students - it's never hard to find someone from Brazil, Greece, Russia, Asia, Africa, Europe, or anywhere else. There are many different races, but in religion the university promotes ONE thing and the majority of students believe and agree with it.

Guys & Girls: The guys and girls dress very nicely - typical eastern/southern dressing. There seems to be an overabundance of Hipsters and Country Boys/Girls. We definitely have a lot of stereotypical worship majors. Everyone here seems comfortable in expressing their own personalities, which is a liberating experience. There are a lot of hot guys and girls and never have so many guys opened doors for me.

3 College Sophomore

Campus Quality: There are a lot of acivities that go on. Some of them are boring but some of them are really good. You have to kind of try them out to figure out which is which. There is a lot to do in the area surrounding Liberty, too. Good hiking, there's a dollar theater across the road, and a mall 2 minutes away.

3 College Sophomore

Off-Campus Dining: There are a lot of restaraunts close to Liberty. Most of them are chain restaraunts (like Olive Garden) or fast food. There are other nicer restaraunts, but you have to drive a few minutes away to get to them and they tend to be a little more expensive.

4 College Sophomore

Campus Quality: It's a Christian school so that makes it unique. The people here are very friendly and easy to talk to. I am currently enrolled in their Nursing program and it has been really great so far. The school does have a tendency to be a little bit unorganized though.

3 College Sophomore

Transportation: There is not an international airport. That is the only downfall.

5 College Sophomore

Local Area: The people are so nice and always willing to help.

4 College Junior

Majors: My major is psychology. I really enjoy it. There is a lot of student interaction, even in the online program. All the course are taught from a biblical worldview, which I love.

5 College Junior

Scholarships: I am a military student. The military affairs office is excellent. LU lowers their tuition cost so that military Tuition Assistance covers all tuition, they remove the technology fee, and they also give military students a book voucher that covers most, if not all of the cost of books. I have not had any problems with this financial process and I have been attending online for a year and a half.

4 College Junior

Local Area: Student activities are great. There is something avaliable for everyone. Skiing facilities, gyms, tracks, frequent concerts and speaking events, cafes, anything you are interested in...

3 College Sophomore

Majors: Making sure that financial aid and program plan were well defined.

5 College Sophomore

Majors: Excellent with the instructors who provide excellent input in applying what the student is learning.

3 College Sophomore

Majors: The instruction is excellent and as a student the effort must be meted out in order to pass the courses.

5 College Junior

Majors: When I majored in Early Childhood Development, I had an internship at an elementary school with second graders. I helped with general classwork, transitions, outdoor supervision, and observed the teacher as she taught lessons. I also had to plan my own math lesson and create a bulletin board with a specific theme of my own.

5 College Junior

Majors: I've always known I had a passion for Psychology, but as soon as I started thinking about the real world I quickly realized that we don't have a lot of options after school as far as jobs. At least, not ones that pay very well! I even switched my major to accounting at one point. Fortunately I was drawn back to the psych department because of a financial aid discrepancy. Overall the program is great. I plan on getting into government while I work on my master's and Ph.D, and then opening my own marriage & family therapy practice. Liberty has definitely prepared me for my career goals!

5 College Freshman

Campus Quality: All the facilities are amazing. They are state of the art, and if they are not they are definitely in the process of making them great. Everything is very clean and the people are very nice who work there.

5 College Senior

Off-Campus Dining: We have almost any kind of food you could want and almost all of them take "Flames Cash" (money on a school card that can be used for food or gas at Sheetz). We have all of the major fast food restaurants as well as subway, Buffalo Wild Wings, Olive Garden, Texas Road House, Cracker Barrel, Firehouse Subs, Wasabi, Hibachi Buffet, Osaka (Japanese restaurant), Chick-fil-a, etc. We have Chinease, Japanese, American, Italian, homestyle, and health food specialty places. The selection is great. Everything is within a 5 mile radius, most of it is within 2 or 3 miles.

4 College Senior

Campus Food: We really have a huge selection of places to eat on campus. We have a traditional dining hall with a main dish, gluten free buffet, salad bar, sandwich bar, pizza, Mexican food, burgers, desserts, and more. We also have a sub place, Chick-fil-a, sushi, coffe places, burger and chicken places, smoothie place, etc.
The meal plans are pretty great too. We have 3 ways to purchase food on campus and several meal plans, so there is always a plan that fits your class schedule and location on campus.

4 College Sophomore

Academics: While I am only an online student, I can say that the professors are extremely competent in their specific studies and I find it a very enjoyable atmosphere. Each class has at least one professor or instructor and sometimes has two or three additional instructors aiding in grading, putting together the assignments, and overall help with the students. I think the only difference in the online and classroom experience is that we do not see each other face to face. It is easier to concentrate, for me, to be able to work online with the other classmates and teachers. The curriculum is still rigorous and we have deadlines for assignments to be finished, but there is a sense of security and ease knowing you have not only the team of professors at your aide but also the campus itself offers many online tools to help with tutoring, writing assignments, etc. The quality of the material far surpasses that of any other college or school I have considered. Thank you for your time.

3 College Freshman

Local Area: I plan on transferring. I do not like this school. But there is tons of things to do here.
