Parking: There is literally no place to park because Liberty decided to put everyone's classes in the same building. It is an absolute nightmare to find a place to park your car.

Academics: Awesome Free Tutoring Services – There are a plethora of free tutoring services made available for us students in order to help us achieve a good, well-deserved grade in our classes. For any subject, there is free tutoring. It's amazing.

Guys & Girls: Because Liberty University is a Christian college, the dress code reflects the college's Christian values. The girls on campus are required to dress modestly while the guys are required to dress professionally.

Campus Housing: The dorms at Liberty University are set up so that there is a hall with rooms lining either side; this set up makes it easy to communicate with the hallmates. The dorms are very roomy and livable.

Off-Campus Dining: The convenience of off-campus dining is excellent because Liberty University is in the city. Many of the restaurants take the college's "flames cash" which is the university's idea of a debit card.

Academics: Liberty is definitely a good school that pushes the students to try their hardest. Studying premed is obviously difficult, but it would be the same no matter where I went. Here, I learn from a christian view opposed to secular which I love. It's a lot different from a secular college here. We call it the "liberty bubble." But in a way, it's nice to see that side of college.

Majors: The School of Communications – Any body can get in. Liberty has a great Communications program. When you become an upper class man, applying for the internships and practicums you need to complete in order to graduate is a little more difficult, but definitely doable.

Greek Life: Liberty does not have Fraternities or Sororities. Some students are trying to kick start Greek life. However, most Greek life is contrary to Liberty's rules. There are plenty of other clubs and organizations to choose from.

Campus Housing: Main Campus Dorm Life – Living on Main Campus at Liberty University has its pros and cons. Sharing a tiny room with two other girls is tough. Closet space is extremely limited. However, by just walking out in the hall I can always find somebody to hang out with. I wish I an oven and stove top to cook on. Having this experience has been great, but I think I will try the apartment style dorms on east campus next year.

Off-Campus Housing: The cost of liberty is very convenient, along with everyone having a great backgroud you feel at home. And the apartments arent that expensive off campus either

Majors: Just Starting Out – SO far being my first semester, I have to say that things are going fairly well and I have received the assistance that I need when neccessary.

3 College Sophomore

Campus Food: Dining on campus is good, but it is just as convenient to go to Wards road and have a wide variety of restruants there to choose from.

5 College Sophomore

Athletics: The athletics at Liberty are well organized and have great support from staff, students, and community. I would say Football and Basketball are probaly top two then Basesall. Our womens sports are highly supported as well.

Administration: Extremely Strict – This school is amazing! but the rules here are very strict compared to a public school or even other christian private schools. The curfew is 12 on weekdays and 12:30 on weekends which I really don't mind. If your caught smoking or drinking on campus you could be expelled immediately no questions asked. The rules here really arent strict if you've grown up this way like me. If your not use to rules I would start looking at other schools

Off-Campus Housing: Not Exactly Sure – I'm not really sure about the off campus housing but I heard their really nice just expensive

Campus Food: Amazing Food!! There are so many places to eat on campus besides the main dining hall its crazy!! The food is really good compared to other University's I've visited.

Weather: Sitting on a Mountain Top!! Ok, its on a mountain in Virginia! So, we get snow in the winter and it gets cold. But, we have a year round ski hill - and they always have excellent stuff to do in the winter! Its a great place to be year round - Fall is mild, Spring is mild too.

Guys & Girls: A Place to Become Instant Friends – I made so many friends on my hall and with our brother dorm the first year, we are all extremely close. I bring them home for holidays and my parents have practically adopted another small country! Lots of different kinds of kids from everywhere - my best friend is from Korea - I live in Virginia!

Academics: A College for Really Living Out Your Faith – When I came to Liberty University, I was already familiar with the great campus, and the wide variety of curriculum to choose from. Students are from around the world. One thing that blew me away was the deep bond of our shared Christian faith and values that all my friends and I shared almost immediately. High School was really difficult for me, and what happened at Liberty changed so much for me. I am living a life I never imagined and dreaming huge God-size dreams for my life now! I would totally recommend Liberty! Even though its a huge school, the classes "feel" smaller and the professors are the best!

Guys & Girls: Guys Are Attractive – The guys on campus are super attractive. Since we have a dress code, almost all of the guys you see around are wearing collared shirts and look neat all the time.

4 College Freshman

Campus Housing: East Campus – We have many different on campus housing options. My favorite is east campus. Each quad had 3 rooms, each with its own bathroom, 2 rooms have 2 students and the other room has 3 students. It also has a kitchen and a laundry room.

4 College Student

Transportation: Bus System Is Very Helpful – The bus here is very convenient and is free to all students. each bus has a different loop it takes, so if you can get on the right bus, then you will be where you want to go in no time.

3 College Student

Off-Campus Dining: Many Good Places to Eat – There are many good places to eat in Lynchburg. You have to drive to them all of course, but a lot of them take our swipe card that comes with the meal plan which is nice. Most are relatively cheap, and the popular spots give student discounts which helps.

4 College Student

Technology: The computer labs have such a variety of different types of computers, that there are always computers open at any given time. They are relatively fast and very helpful.

5 College Freshman

Drug Safety: Drug Free Campus – There are no drugs or alcohol allowed on campus and it is very strictly enforced. Students are expected to represent LU well by not participating in those things even on breaks. If there is a drug bust, the entire campus knows about it and it is the talk of the town for a few days.
